alright guys awesome year i wish i could contribute to this.. I am new this year and i just have to give a big WOW to
the whole staff you guys are doing an amazing job, especially to raise nearly a million dollars i think this is an
amazing idea and hope that this website will be recognized as step towards the future to control global problems.

Great job, directorate! I'm happy to see how the money split up. I'm rather pleased to see that our priorities are children & cancer first, climate last.
I appreciated the ability to select one charity to send all our money to, but next time could we have more granular selection abilities? Maybe a set of checkboxes to select which ones (multiple) we want to support and which we do not? I say this because I would have liked to support more than one, but my deep & frothing dislike of the Alliance for Climate Protection forced me to choose just one charity. I'm sure many people found themselves in similar situations. It seems like this would be pretty trivial to implement, and allowing more choice would make the charity aspect of MacHeist more personally meaningful to buyers.
Like others have said, I would love to see Child's Play on the charity list next year. Please make this happen if possible!

What is it with Alliance for Climate Protection that you don't like?
Completely out of curiosity. I didn't hear of them before seeing them on the list during purchase of the bundle.
Kudos to MacHeist for such a great win-win-win initiative!

I'm normally not one to chime in with a "me too", but hey, this will be my 50th post and you guys did a great job. It is nice to see that 10% to charity really add to something SUBSTANTIAL.

This is a brilliant way to make money to help those charities - I'm proud to be able to be part of the last two heists, and look forward to the next one.
One quick question - do you have any "official" CD artwork for this heist ? I've seen a "box" with the app icons in a circle - a straight-on shot of that would be great (currently burning my heists to DVD)

There is a thread somewhere in the Forum addressing your question about CD artwork.
(Sorry, can't seem to find the exact thread right now...anyone else?)
Before burning to DVD , how about this: Create a really cool DMG that contains all of your apps, as described in this thread including tools, a template and instructions.

Awesome! For all the B&M people at other sites (example, MacWorld) do about MacHeist, this is what makes it really worthwhile.
I've never heard of "PC" users doing this sort of thing, that supports both charities and independent software developers. It's another great reason to be a Mac user! Go us!

While I'm still waiting for the scale of this to sink in, I'm a more than a little surprised that the Alliance for Climate Protection got the least cash. I've explained my fairly cruel-sounding way of thinking before, but we are talking about the extinction of the human race here.

I think it's not too late to devolve a part of money collected by MacHeist Bundle to L'Aquila and Abruzzo People for reconstruction. I think the associations will understand and agree. What do you think about?

NOW - That is a great idea! I may be currently out of work but now that I see how much money was raised through all the little bits we put together. The donation of some of our discounts could really add up.
Perhaps, there could be an eleventh Charity that would get the extras?
