The website "http://what.cd" really has no significance to this quest.  That's all I will say for now.  Also, source code is important!

"Don't Make Assumptions" should be your key guide.  If all else fails, start the quest over and be very careful!

I've checked the source code on the what.cd part of the quest and found nothing of interest.

so you're saying it's a dead end? why construct dead ends if it just gives you more hassles when people are trying to complete the heist? ill be surprised if anyone finishes this heist without the help from the OP

I think that some people could finish this heist without hints. They just need some logic, determination, grit. There is a dead end, but that's only if you assumed. If you didn't, you would arrive at the page, and should find a solution that wouldn't take so long.

Well, like everyone else, I "assumed" that there was a spelling error on that fake 404 page.. Now I'm stuck..

The fake 404 page has the next link in it's source.

Oh, and I've recoded both pages to make it easier.  Thanks for letting me know.

stuck at the torrent.. translated the word "quest" and put it into base16, but its 404ing

@zapzack:  remove the spaces.  should've included that.  sorry.

actually.. I took another look at it, then thought "hmmm.. maybe if i convert the letters to lowercase" and that seemed to work.. so the final answer is lowercase and remove the spaces

Okay.  The HEX Encoder I used automatically made everything lowercase and removed the spaces.
