Load the MH homepage on an iOS device (preferably an iPad due to the larger screen).

With one finger held down on the safe, use another finger to spin the background counterclockwise. Some symbols drop down and then a map appears.

Right. It's definitely a map of a "secret basement" of the flagship store. Can't figure out what to do/where to go next.

two fingers on the safe, turn counter clock wise. four symbols appear, keep turning. Empty symbols get filled in with icons. After all four spaces are filled a secret message appears. Looks like a map. Ipod screen is too small to read it...

No... they aren't.
There's the backward text, and 4 symbols. A letter, a Tarurs symbol a cube and the link thing. Those 4 symbols appear on an iPad when pulling the wheel counter clockwise.

If those are app icons.. I guess at least one of the apps got a Beta update about 20 Minutes Ago..

You should post a larger rez screenshot for those who do not own an iPad. I got it to pop up on my ipod but it's to small.

I suspect that the "Access Panel" is the location of whatever people need to be looking for at the Apple Store in NYC.

IMHO the "box" icon is definately Reeder.

I know people wanted to use iOS devices for heists, but did they make it required?! I can't find a way to do anything on the home page on my Mac, only with my iPod Touch.

It is a vault, so are the possibly tumblers? If you notice, the 'Vault' seems to turn when you switch the page orientation on the iOS device...

Edit: It seems to move around on it's own, even without changing the orientation of the device..

Alright, I have a source at the Apple Store that is telling me that MobileMe is getting ready to change.. and it's called Castle. Now MobileMe has symbols.. kinda like the symbols that pop up on the iPod Macheist page when you turn the background. Then.. the Apple Store layout comes up. Coincidence?

I think going to the apple store is probably part of this - there were some augmented reality puzzles before - this could be one of them.

guys i don't think its in the apple store, if you look at the grid it looks like its the building behind the store (being from nyc) around the apple store there are physical little metal posts around the store and placing the elevator there, than the unknown is inback of the store.... maybe im over analyzing but i think its leading us to.. oh my god i totally just found something. follow me, http://www.apple.com/retail/fifthavenue/ go to the pics and click on the outside movable one, if you look at the building behind you see the big lights like the cameras in the pic. 767 isnt the apple store, its the building behind. thats as far as i've gotten, i cant go check it out till Saturday, thoughts?

Cause if you look on street view it lines up perfectly with the outside (http://www.apple.com/retail/fifthavenue/ the second to last pic drag it so you see the lights (cameras) and the columns (the wall) and the lasers (the metal pegs) idk
