App keeps crashing
Page 1
I keep experiencing crashes on my iPhone 3gs after solving the sudoku puzzles. This is the second time that it happened (lvl 8 and lvl 10) and after restarting the application I see a solved puzzle, but no red laser lines.
After putting in the last tile, the app freezes completely.
We are not gentle tolerant people. We like drastically effective solutions

Mine crashes regularly too. I've rebooted and it still crashes. Jailbroken 4.3.1, no Mobile Substrate hacks.

I use iOS 4.3.2 jailbroken and no mobile substrate Hacks As well.
A reboot didn't help unfortunately.

There are literally no hacks on my device and this is the only program which crashes.

Sadly, mine crashed right before the FaceTime video part after cracking the safe.
iPhone 4, Jailbroken, two iOS versions ago.

Mine also crashed at the exact same point, with the exact same specs (4.3.1).
I went digging in the filesystem (yay jailbreak) and extracted the FaceTime call from the app data. If you haven't seen it yet, it's here: http://cl.ly/75dN

I started the app, got a phone cal from sophia, picked it up, said hello, no answer, no sound, time ticked away till it errored out. can't continue, exit the game and when I start it back up again it just is sitting on the call screen. all "buttons" are greyed out except for the speaker. how do I get on with it?

That's very interesting. No issues here on 3.1.3 jailbroken iPhone original, 4.3.3 jailbroken iPod Touch 3g, or my friends 4.3.1 jailbreak on his iPhone 3GS.

Generally, jailbreaking all by itself doesn't cause bugs that would interfere with a sandboxed application. Try booting into Safe Mode - the fact that you know you have no MobileSubstrate hacks installed probably means you have MobileSubstrate installed and are not 100% sure what's going on. If you do not know how to boot into safe mode, go into Cydia, install SBSettings, respring, slide the top bar of your iDevice, press power and then Safe Mode. Once you have done so, try playing the game again. If that didn't work then restore and unjailbreak.

Why would I have Mobile Substrate installed if I don't have any Mobile Substrate hacks? That would be useless. Further, SBSettings is a Mobile Substrate hack...

I'm aware. I know many people who have MobileSubstrate installed who don't actually have any "hacks." Anyway, I'm nearly certain that MobileSubstrate is not causing issues here.

You can always submit a ticket with a bug report filled out as well as send along any crash reports. Perhaps if there is something consistent with the crashes on jailbroken devices it might be an easy fix:
