Interesting to see a sale by Omni. I don't think I've ever found a discounted app from them.

Thanks. I've been wanting Fantastical. Have Soulvr, and really like it, even though I don't use it often.

Agreed, never seen one either.
Am keeping my eyes out for OmniGraffle Pro reduced to £9.99 but I'm not holding my breath. OmniFocus and OmniOutliner Pro I've been using for some while and find them really excellent.
I didn't go to university. Didn't even finish A-levels. But I have sympathy

Is the omni price drop temporary or permanent? I kind of suspect they are reconsidering their pricing structure due to the popularity of the Mac App Store.

I would say it's temporary seems to be in collaboration with Apple and the Back to School promotion looking at this page and the blurb:

Yes, Omni confirmed in an email to me that it was a Student discount at the moment.
Still, never seen an omni sale before...
