Hello all!

It’s kind of odd to think that it’s been over three years since our last season of MacHeist. I’ll be the first to admit that running tap tap tap has been a bit of a distraction.

Granted, because of tap tap tap, we’ve been able to bring you The Heist, which now has over 6 million players. And it’s not like we’ve gone bundle-less in those three years… we’ve delivered two great nanoBundles to you.

But absolutely nothing compares to a real season of MacHeist.

And we’ve slaved over the the last year and a half to bring you this wonderful season. If you check-out the About page, you’ll see who the “we” are. You’ll recognize several of the faces, but you’ll also see many new ones. The team that we’ve put together to bring this to you is an incredible bunch of extremely hard working, extremely talented people who love doing what they do.

We’ve assembled a bunch of awesome missions for you. We’ve gathered a ton of fantastic loot for you to load-up your Mac with. And we’ve put together the biggest and best Mac bundle ever.

We’re kicking the season off with a little app called MacHeist Agent. This is your central point for all things MacHeist. You’ll notice that MacHeist Agent is for your iPhone and iPad and I know that the first thing many of you will wonder is if we’re diverting from our Mac roots. Rest assured that you’ll be able to enjoy all of this season’s missions on your Mac.

So welcome aboard, all of you, whether you’ve been here since MacHeist 1, way back in 2006 or if it’s your first time experiencing a full season of MacHeist. I’m absolutely positive you’re going to have a blast!

Nevertheless, it's good to be back.

Sadly, logging in doesn't even work in Camino. Oh well. Guess it's back to Safari for me. The quasi-Victorian Steampunk vibe is a nice new direction for the site to go, but...in the age of the HiB/IndieRoyale, Steam Sales, and the App Store, I'm curious to see what The Directorate are bringing to the table to return MH to relevancy in the Mac software market.

Participating in MacHeist 2 and 3's puzzles and community are perhaps some of the high points in my 22 year Mac career - as over the top as that sounds. I cannot begin to tell you how excited I am to hear you're back!

When you tweeted the other day my thought was "Sigh, I miss MacHeist".
