possibly we could make our own key from http://www.quizland.com/hiero.htm???
maybe the one in the pdf is another red herring
When I draw lines across to each other through the circle it isolates the letters.. although so far.. I haven't figured out what good that does
Tried that too. Got nothing. Laying it at an angle proved useless.
Thank you MacHeist!
heroglyphs on the pdf are displayed on http://theperplexer.com/
i think the hieroglyph wheel needs to be pinned with a smaller one on top - you could rotate the small wheel to get the right letter? there's gotta be a second wheel.
I think IRC is down

Problem is translating that graphic.

That sounds logical to me.
what if you cut a slit from the edge to the dot, then you could sort of fold it and pull the edges of where you cut it over one another and it would do something... is this making any sense?
These are not Egyptian, they are probably made up pictures, the only decoder being that wheel.

I thought the same thing, but where is the second wheel?
Thank you MacHeist!
whoa it almost looks like calculus, but then again if i am reading the second line correctly they had pi', to which the extent of my knowledge would be zero, but honestly, i just saw t" and thought second derivative, idk they also have the summation symbol, the greek capital letter "sigma" of alpha and beta...
in other words...i either have no clue or made a brilliant discovery, but i am almost positive it is that i have no clue...

The wheel is not Egyptian writing, but the image at perplexer under the top image is.
These symbols look Native American.
Thank you MacHeist!
The letters and hieroglyphics on the wheel don't match up. Frustrating.
and
Do the symbols on each side of the wheel correspond to the letter directly across from it on the other side of the wheel?
I'll bet that's it. It was the trick in the demo of the latest Myst game, IIRC. Some of the glyphs look like they're from there too.
And here I was trying to go for each combination of the letters the glyph was between ![]()

Going that route gets nonsense.
I don't think that is it.
Thank you MacHeist!
Look beyond the red gives a code, which backwards reads "pulsing lights turn me on".
dude, dont just post shit without an explanation.....what is this?...where did you find it?
Dont you remember, before the heist came out, all there was on Macheist was an olive wrapped in bacon...

Looking at the letters directly across from the symbols instead of next to them isn't really nonsense, but w/e.
I reject your reality, and substitute my own.

Same here, any help?
All's quiet in the Amazon.
Man this math and glyphs! I found that most of the stuff was under the Greek Keyboard. But I don't think that comes into play here anymore.
You guys know... I use a Mac so I don't have to worry about Math and Glyphs! This is like a Windows/Dos puzzle or maybe even Linus...LOL

It must have been planted there by the perplexer!
Using this chart, I got that the glyphs on the first image that were laying on the crack spelled "fri", maybe a reference to friday the 13th?

the wrapped in bacon thing, although i don't know if the site is related, was an image before heist 6 went live (before glass with olive)
