You can't break us down: Elements cannot be (chemically) broken down. smile

Some they do and some they don't and some you just can't tell.

They are gods representing the four classical elements, perhaps?

Prometheus would be Fire
Ares is Air (according to Jopari)

Elements can be broken down into protons, electrons, neutrons etc....im a chemist and it erks me when people dont remember that....off topic though...sorry about the rant

Ares != air... Ares was the Greek god of war (nothing to do with the Greek idea of the element air besides sounding similar)

By the beginnings of those names & the corresponding element we have:

Prometheus > Pr > Praseodymium
Ares >Ar >  Argon
Deimos > ???
Helios > He > Helium

of course, I was wrong before...

what about the c3 and c4 plants that go through photosynthesis partly at night?  I mean, its a stretch, but basic elements make up plants....plants need water and air, affected by the moon in this case, and of course fire...at night to signify it? 

that might be too much of a stretch though.....
