Hmm.. looks like I slipped through the cracks. I e-mailed Midnight Apps a couple days ago with all the required info and haven't heard from 'em yet. Guess I should try again.
Don't count on it. I emailed them several times in the last few months.

Mine took a day or two...give them some time...

Yeah, I just had to manually verify yours as legit. ![]()

They replied very quickly to me, I'd try again.
Back on my two feet
I followed John's instructions and I too received a speedy reply from Juan. All's well and running nicely.
I have to say that so far, I'm really happy that I have not paid for a Cha-Ching license. My initial impression of the application was that it was basically a toy, and of no use to grown-ups who want to manage their household's finances. I have since been set straight by a few people whose opinions I respect, and wanted to properly evaluate the application alongside my current personal finance manager of choice, iBank (which is, since the Cha-Ching price hike, about the same price).
You lot are fortunate to have received such prompt and courteous support. My experience so far has been, unfortunately, like wph's; in the past two weeks, I've sent my polite request with all the necessary info three times (to the address posted in this thread: support at chachingapp dot com, also the address it has been stated was posted to Midnight Apps' blog), and haven't even received an auto-response in acknowledgement of receipt. Rather discouraging, and not really incentive to fork over any more cash.
Myeh.
I got a reply in minutes. Some things happen where people make mistakes and forget about one or two people. We're all human.
Mistake is like when one email falls through the cracks. JustG and I have probably sent a combined 7-8 emails, and neither of us has gotten a reply.

I'm guessing their servers are maybe not receiving or filing your message as spam... that's definitely too bad and frustrating.

I'd have to agree with Shadownight. Odds are the e-mails are being treated as spam.

Oooops, forgot to post this..
I sent my request on the 19th (a Saturday). Since I sent it on the weekend I expected no response until at least Monday. I got my reply on Sunday late afternoon.

Turns out *their* domain's being snubbed by my server, I guess, because their messages to me are bouncing. I wrote to them using a different address, to which they were able to reply. The response took two days, which I consider totally acceptable.
Thanks for the suggestion, everyone. wph, you might want to try the same. I know there's nothing wrong with my address, I get hundreds of messages a day; perhaps the same thing's happening to you and their responses to you are bouncing. Worth a try, if you haven't already.

Good idea, although I would think a gmail address would work just fine.

I would think so, too; it's to my Gmail address that they were finally able to respond. In any case, it's been four days, now, since I sent them a query (from the Gmail account), and it's received no response/acknowledgement.
Oh well.

Jeez.. I got my reply hours after I sent it... you want me to send them an email with your address for them to reply to you to?
You guys can also try posting on http://midnightapps.com/community, though I will admit the responses there can also be slow. Usually for issues like this they respond pretty quickly though.
Whistle while you work. Patience is key.
Erm, ok, dumb question but... I haven't got around to taking a screenshot of my loot and right now if I click on it it redirects me to the MU Promo thingy pack - which is great, paid and bought it but... how do I get my cha-ching screenshot done now?
lance2355, check again or email the directorate - I can still see my loot page but didn't participate in MU so can't tell you whether your loot page comes back or not.
