Well originally this post was about 'something', but the 'something' said to not talk about it (not sure if thats part of the roleplaying lol). What it was (vaguely)was an email relating to macheist, possibly a heist 6.5?

has anyone gotten through the sekr3t registration process yet?  I'm getting something that looks suspiciously like a broken system, rather than a clue...but one never knows...

Update: never mind, it was a bug of sorts...always try multiple browsers in the land of MacHeist, I suppose.

The classic Quartz Composer-based website webcam prank (used here) breaks in Camino 1.5 - it crashes it without fail; works fine in Safari 2 though.

Didn't make my Camino 1.5 crash.
Of course, it didn't show my face either, because my iMac is 6 years old and I haven't bought a webcam.

Okay, here is my input for now:

It says we must find the key as a group, so I'm guessing it is IMPOSSIBLE to do alone. I am not sure of it, that's just a guess.

My other guess is that when we sign up, the account gets our computers "fingerprint". In this way, it is able to give certain information to certain accounts (aka, what I see might not be what someone else sees).

Now that we're all in, let's DO THIS THING!!!!

Oh, and the white characters happen when you press a button.  Press 9 --> 9s all light up.

Drag screencap to your desktop, and it has wierd dimensions and Preview can't open it.  Web browsers and Xee can.  What does that tell us?

The alpha-numeric phrases on the terminal are moving right-to-left, bottom-to-top.  lit up characters stay in the same phrase.  maybe we need to completely light one?

it isn't possible since you can only light up one letter at a time in a segment, and that segment is the lower right, which moves up to the upper left and disappears.

Maybe inquisitor will suggest a hint...

Ok, I need to work on my talk, and the constant monitoring of my iSight is kind of creepy.  When I'm done with the slide show I'll be back.

Inquisitor didn't yield anything obvious, though I have yet to feed it the two image names...

Care to elaborate?
