Another way to see the trappedinsidedarkness maze is to download the image and increase the brightness. (e.g. on iPhoto, photoshop, preview)

I think that might be a top view of the maze over at http://ms-randd.com/internal/. You see, near the middle to the right, a little symbol? Maybe if we get there somehow...

Maybe the dots correspond with the location of letters.

there are far too many dots

those dots aren't actually there.  They're artifacts from editing the image.

I keep bumping into that. Also blue T C White NES white arrows leading to like a red MN that looks like a stop sign.

Yes, I think you're right. When I edited the image I got different numbers of dots with the different levels I used.

So disregard the dots but do look at the symbol near the middle to the right.

Use the overhead map and go to where the circle is in the doom maze.  Press play on the remote.  From there follow the directions in the briefing.
