I just got a email saying, "Perhaps even cooler, we've listened to your feedback, and added a reward for early buyers - the first 1000 customers will receive an additional, Apple Design Award winning application valued at nearly $80... the app will be revealed tomorrow night."
I don't think it is screenflow, but I'm think it is a previous winner. It might be Coda.
Coda is $80.

I think because of that feedback part, it has to be Coda

Coda and lineform both fit the description.

I'd put my money on lineform, seeing as Macheist has worked with freeverse in the past and Panic doesn't do bundles. I hope I'm wrong.

We honestly don't need another bundle with a vector designing app. I already have Coda. I don't need Parallels. I tried to justify the purchase of this bundle, but I simply can't. Everything I run in Windows requires the full allotment of system resources, so Parallels is of no use to me.

Well, I'm kinda gambling here... I have both parallels and MacPilot and I still purchased the bundle in hope for the mystery app to be a big bam. Screenflow and Code, I'd love both, I so hope it's one of them. If it's actually lineform, I loose, I don't need it at all. But I can not really imagine that MH would put this in - it's kinda clear that the first ones to get on the deal are the loyal customers and most of them already have Vector Designer and probably don't really need another vector graphics app.
But let's see, it's fun to gamble... The curiousity about the 3rd app is definitely worth the risc;-)

And if the bonus app is something I don't need, I will still not mind having given two nice presents today... my girlfriend got really hot for MacPilot when she saw my tweaked system few days ago;-)

Anyway... so hoping for Coda....

I'd love a copy of either Coda or ScreenFlow. Either would be really amazing.
Though, if it ended up being LineForm, it would really suck. I mean, I've gotten both Pixelmator and VectorDesigner from MHII, and I have Graphic Converter and Photoshop, so another graphics app like that would just be annoying.

It would be nice if it were Coda, but I think we're all deluding ourselves. And even if it is Coda, 1000 will be up in literally no time, bringing the current promo back to "eh" levels.

Not sure why the need to do another promo just as one finished.  I'd think waiting another two months before doing this would be a good idea to let some folks save a few bucks up for it.  I guess they think that since this last promo was a bit of a flop that they need something right away to help make up for it?

At any rate I don't think I'm gonna bite.  I hope to move to an Intel based Mac laptop next month and will be needing something to run Windows and Linux.  I've always been a VMWare fan from their Windows product that I've used for the last 8 yrs or so at work and even today I tried out the free Open Source product VirtualBox under Ubuntu 8.04 and came away impressed...and yes, there is a Mac version.

Basically though if the mystery app were known and it was something I wanted I just might'a made the leap.  Parallels with MacPilot though is unfortunately just as weak as the last bundle with the rehashed software. sad

An $80 app is good incentive to buy IMO, even if we don't know what it is.

Like I said in another thread: I'm going to put my money on the mystery app being Lineform. It makes the most sense, as Freeverse just finished a deal with MH having SoundStudio in the last bundle.

If it does turn out to be Coda, I will be surprised.

Yeah, but having LineForm would make no sense, as the past bundles have included Pixelmator, VectorDesigner and Graphic Converter...
Another graphics app would be stupid.

Edit: I looked at LineForm's website, and it's underwhelming. VectorDesigner looks like it can blow LineForm out of the water...

Having both so far, however, makes it a gamble not worth taking.

We tend to agree that the timing wasn't great, but Parallels really really needed this going ASAP and ending on the 30th due to their financial schedule. In any case, we are doing our best to help make their quotas. tongue

But yes, this will absolutely be the last deal we offer until MacHeist 3, which comparatively is a long ways away. But it'll be worth the wait.

It won't be Coda.  They have never been open to any discounts or special deals with Coda....

Probability of Lineform:  99.2%

Probability of Coda: 0.8%

Turning GREEN waiting for the bundle!

Well looking at the past posts by Phil he has gladly told what program it wasn't.. Only ones not replied to are Lineform and Coda I reckon he doesn't mention those two in order to keep the suspense a little..?

Now my English is not that good, but the word "Doozy" does not really cover an application such as Lineform knowing the fact that we just got another vector application a week ago? Well at least not the definitions I have found on Doozy...

My guess is Coda or an application we do not know about that in some mysterious way got an Apple Award... Toast 9 is $80 as well..... big_smile

Well, I do want to point out that as a -bonus-, which have been smaller apps or things like early beta entry in the past, this should be much more substantial. May not be literally a 'doozy' for you or others, really depends on your tastes, but that's just my overdeveloped hype tongue working. tongue

Hehe.... Oh well even without the bonus application I think it was a nice deal for me indeed.. And yes taste differs, so what could be a potential gem to some may be trashed by others.. We can't make everyone happy can we smile

Has the app been revealed yet?  I'm not sure if I was in the first 1000, but I really only care if it was Coda.

I bought the bundle. Should I have received anything by now if I will get the secret app or no ? I bought mostly because of that, as I already have parallels.
