I've been trying to figure out some of the ranks on the forums, and I've gotten this:

1-9= White Liar

10-49= Pickpocket

50-99= Rustler

100-499= Jewel Thief

500-999 = Bank Robber

1000+= Safe Cracker

Also, Moderator and Directorate.

Is this all of them, and are the numbers right?

apparently thats the highest the ranks go.

other than being modded or becoming a Directorate I have nothing to aim for in terms of my 'rank'

since Macheist 3 is round the corner now, going on 2 + years of heisting and there are a quite a few members way past the safe cracking 1000 post mark. how about some new ranks!?

MJWeb brings up a good point (I hate to say it, friend!). Also, folks who aren't native speakers and readers of English simply may not get the humor. So, let's just knock it off before it even threatens getting out of hand. M'kay?

As for new titles, I'd love to see it. We (the moderators) have brought it up as well. Let's hope that when the Directorate puts together a re-vamp for MHIII that this is included

How about also, if there are more cool suggestions than we need, adding another rank for every half interval? e.g. instead of one at 100, 500, 1000 and 2000 we could att 250, 750 and 1500...?

Wow here I am creeping up on becoming a "Jewel Thief" at 100 posts, then it's 400 more posts to become a "Bank Robber".  Perhaps some of the new suggestions could be inserted between the bigger name change spans?

I'd also put a suggestion in the box that all you 2000+ posters deserve an exclusive title of dishonesty bestowed upon you by the power that be, one that you have no say or control over.
