One of the things I've always loved about these bundles is that they include great apps I hadn't necessarily heard of before. I don't have anything in particular that I want to see in MHIII; I just hope the directorate keeps up their tradition of giving a great deal on great apps that I wouldn't have sought out on my own otherwise.

Well said!  I agree entirely, there there are a few apps I'm not buying right now awaiting the announcement:)

It looks like that we will know very soon.

My #1= MacFamilyTree

#2= Super monkey ball

Wow. MacHeist 4. I can't believe it's actually happening.
Unfortunately, it looks like I'm sitting this one out because of aggressive version requirements. It's been real.

@hias, @LaurentR
Considering Filemaker is owned by Apple Inc., Filemaker or Bento would never come in a bundle that's not promoted by Apple.

I don't think adobe would let them put Flash or Photoshop in the bundle...

But that would be awesome! XD

Espresso is still pretty premature in its development stages, so I'd be surprised to see it included in any form in this year's heist. That said, CSSEdit (also by MacRabbit) rocks so I certainly love to see Espresso in there.

There have been quite a few new apps included before though hasn't there? Pixelmator for example.

So perhaps we could see Things and Espresso since we know both of their developers are open to bundles too. I'd really like both of those.

Also I'd like Hazel and Little Snitch.

Would Things be excluded due to the inclusion of its Preview releases in a couple of bundles? I hope not.

Expresso seems a good bet (again, hopefully) due to the inclusion of CSSEdit last year, but surely Little Snitch and Hazel would be excluded due to having been in previous MUPromo bundles?

Things may not be excluded because its preview release was available before. It may be excluded for other reasons though. tongue It really is going to be a revelation when the MH3 bundle is shown to everyone, since johnred said apps from previous bundle sales and heists wouldn't reappear.

They should have a deal, where if you buy the iPhone app, you get a coupon code, and you can use it to get 10-15% off of the Mac app.

I have to say that Things would be really useful. Also, I reckon the release to be perfectly timed with the MHIII begin date. I thought it would either be New Year or Macworld.

But I will still hope for Coda!

Okay. It can get tough to tell where the "commercial" boundary is, since the last MacUpdate bundle included Drive Genius, which, if it is considered shareware, is the most expensive shareware I've ever seen.

Shareware is a distribution model as opposed to a pricing model.  But yeah, there are more expensive shareware applications :-D
