Thanks so much for the update.  I am totally lost, but at least this helps me to understand what we're doing/trying to do.  I hope we can figure this all out.

I removed the spaces, added the dots, but I only get four of the pictures. I went to check my loot and I see mac dust, is that the loot? If not, what's wrong?

EDIT: Nevermind, I found the solution in another post.

get all 9 images into photoshop, its a jigsaw, but them in the right order, perhaps rotate some, then left to right and downwards as you would read note the filenames as one long string of hex. decode that

And here I was thinking I was clever before reading all these posts...

Figured out Swords of the Television Generation

Went to the website

Got the image

It's not a magic eye thing, and my guess is that the next clue is in the filename somewhere, but I haven't the time right now to try solving it...

One theory I want to try out is substituting the numbers out for letters that look similar to the letters (e.g. replace 1 with I, etc.). Doing this give you another nonsensical string of characters, but I think there might be a message in there, perhaps in the form of text message shorthand or something.

The TGA is pretty... I wonder if the cut-out image the Mainframe shows is important?
If you look careful-like, the piece that Mainframe shows is around the lower-center of the TGA, the part with the two connected bubbles, and a third that seems to have split off to the left.

Looks kinda like a peanut and... dunno, a bubbly thing.
But then the clipped image also has that weird flare at the top left corner....

Heh, I am kind of clueless. My friend thinks he has figured it out, his user name is comspy. He used some kind of code Cracker for this, and he somehow made it work O.o, I am speechless too. On the last note, this is a great puzzle that I would love to enjoy to solve is there were any real clues tongue

I'm not finished with the whole heist yet... but the object is to go thru all the puzzles and collect the .tga images. They are then used as keys to unlock the master combination lock to open up all the free goodies.

Once you have the image, go on to the next part of the search. Don't get too caught up in making the puzzles harder than what they are.

3 pieces I have so far. smile

Good luck to you and everyone else who tuffs it out and gets the images !

Oh... and Sophia... you're too cute to be a spy. Meet me at this little coffee shop I know of in Istanbul... and I will take you away from all this cloak and dagger sneaking around. I will take you sailing on the Black Sea and we will eat caviar and drink fine Russian champagne. What do you say? wink

Like I said... gather all the images together first.

There are 9 of them to find.

Don't worry about anything more than finding the 9 images right now, at this moment. Once you find an image, that particular part of the heist is solved. Go on to the next.

There are 9 images to find

Once you get the images together, they are used to open a lock.

Find all 9 images first.

There are 9 images to find.

I don't know how much more clear I can be.

How about this gangstar...

follow this link and take the images you already have and use them on the mainframe page that Sophia mentions...

http://www.macheist.com/forums/viewtopic.php?id=9207

Do not use the "eye" picture, just use the one that looks like a paint spill.

OK... one more hint. Make sure to take the URL down for the images' location. The location is the key.
