The URL won't do anything in the mainframe...
For The Swords of the Television Generation, I did a quick google and brought up the following website:
www . swordsofthetelevisiongeneration . com
Right-click on the page and view the source. At the bottom of the source there's a link to the next image that goes in the top-left of where the first image from the text file goes.

i am confused, nothing happens when i put anything in the mainframe
Yeah, nothing shows up for me either. Odd.
I'm using http://wormzappertheapp.com/b5cabcde153 … 583fba.tga
, which I got from that .txt file like it seems everyone did.
I don't have a signature.

Turns out that if you select the newline in the txt file along with the url, the mainframe won't take it. You have to select just the url without the newline.

I Really dont uderstand german
I got "host timed out" when I tried it, but I got the piece via someone's URL.

PS: Anyone, if you are stuck here, just take the clues by those who have gone before. This puzzle and the previous one are exactly from last year, with just very slight variations. Most of the work of solving the puzzles was done last year, so many people are just taking shortcuts, leaving the newbies a bit clueless.
Also, it is funny that some people who are actually solving the puzzles (for example, those who got the first piece), are giving up, because it doesn't make sense. IT IS NOT SUPPOSED TO MAKE SENSE YET.

I put in the wormzapper web address followed by the hex. I got a similar, but different graphic like the one downloaded from the remote.

the link is on the wormzappertheapp website: /b5cabcde1533bd90d8551748bb583fba.tga
ooh i got it finally.
I'm chronicling my trials of how I try and solve this (with the forum members' help, of course; I'm reading every post as I go!) on my LiveJournal; for anyone that's lost, you can go to the-sweet.livejournal.com and look for the posts tagged "macheist."

w00t, nice work!
Kurailord: Go to mainframe . macheist . com/
Enter the two URLs to the .tga pictures there.
The first one was the one from www . swordsofthetelevisiongeneration . com
The second one is mentioned a million times in this thread. (the one at www . wormzappertheapp . com)
Hope that helps.

I did the TFTP process, where is the file?
There are two ways to find this -- you can search on your hard drive for enigma.txt, which is the file you just downloaded.
I'm 95% sure, however, that it downloads to your home directory... /Users/username/enigma.txt
Check in your home folder for it.
