So I'm new, but here is a thought. I don't know how common games are as loot, but what if beating the Pandora's Pest game would reveal something for the Heist? I don't have near enough time to take it up, but if someone is already at it, maybe they could be nice and give us busier people a little help :-)
I have a theory but I can't post it until I "become more active".

The previous MacHeists had a couple of games in them. But it's highly unlikely that there would be any hints in the games themselves.

What do you mean?
I believe that he means he cannot post links.
As a side note, if you post a link in a way that the forum will let you post it and us mods see that you are not a spam bot, we can fix them up so that others can click on them.

Huh, interesting. There's definitely a spiral in there, but since the DEVON logo is a nautilus shell, which consists of the quite-common logarithmic spiral (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Logarithmic_spiral), the spiral on the mainframe image could resolve into something else...
We'll see soon!

kknupp: yeah thats a nice find I wouldn't of guessed that
9 days to go... the Devonthink icon doesn't quite match.

Maybe have a look at the black corners for inspiration? I'm stumped.
or maybe there is something with the 3 parts changing to blue that didn't turn white or black (the 3 lines of color on the outside of the spiral) Outside of the spiral, the whole picture seems to be turning blue. Does anyone have the original image (i.e. before the decoding) so we can compare?
check my the thread on the front which is macheist mainframe change.
Look on the first page for a comparison.
the thickness of the spiral is now changing
Yeah... big change to the definition of the spiral, perhaps in a couple of days and it should be more defined ![]()

there is a lot more updates here : http://www.macheist.com/forums/viewtopic.php?id=9355
i am constantly looking for updates, and there is quite a few good things there.
There is also a script that records any changes to the mainframe image.

Hmm. Almost over, You can see the spiral without fuzz, as pranavprakash1 said.
Wow. MacHeist 4. I can't believe it's actually happening.
Unfortunately, it looks like I'm sitting this one out because of aggressive version requirements. It's been real.

Huh? What happened from MacBU?
MacBU (The Microsoft Mac Business Unit) gave us Office 2008. You know, the one that got castrated when Microsoft dropped VBA support? The one which has crappy .docx compatibility?
Yeah, that one... ![]()
Edit: That was WhiteFang actually, not Bob.
There has been a trend emerging at MacBU, and that trend is best graphically represented by the downward spiral of the MacHeist Mainframe. Their products aren't fixed, focus is on features over functionality...
