I was thinking of where a mini-heist could be... anyone have any thoughts or are searching in certain places??

Possible Places:
1. Maybe another image/shape fits in the shape area
2. On the Macheist google map?
3. In the Briefings videos
4. On the clip that plays after you put in the sideways cross

Just thinking because I was bored after finishing the heist and was thinking of more heists big_smile

EDIT: For some odd reason I remember a URL flash on the door of the safe on the MH2 Bundle video.  (maybe I went crazy but I would like to be told that for the Directorate before I turn myself into the Funny Farm.)

Ahh Ha here it is: http://www.macheist.com/forums/viewtopic.php?id=7818

and here as well: http://www.macheist.com/forums/viewtopi … 07#p113407

They were just hidden away in the MH2 archives. smile

Nice thought, but I'm thinking there's nothing else happening right now.  I can imagine them using clues from earlier missions in the later ones.  We shall see.

I just hope I'm around for the next mission.  I had to go out of town on Friday and didn't get back into town until late last night.  By then the mission had come and gone.  Nearly everyone was finished already.  Bummer.

How about a weeknight mission?

I think MH is pretty straightforward about when a heist is on but I wouldn't put a sneaky heist past them.

Let's keep our eyes open!

haven't seen anything of interest. & why would they want to hide a mission? everyone would post about it once it got discovered anyway.

Where did you get the idea that there might be a mini-heist? I haven't really seen this happen before. Of course neither have I seen the team concept this year either smile.

I don't think there have been any mini-heists for us to find yet. I'm pretty sure that at least early in the Heist, the missions will all be listed in briefings. I mean, the first NanoHeist was there...

I don't think they usually sneak it like that, otherwise no publicity, which is ultimately what the mini-heists are. I'm not saying it's impossible, but I'd guess not.

If you're seeing this, I really should be doing other work right about now.

I'm still holding onto a small shred of hope that we might have some mini missions that creep in. I don't know if we've had any yet, though. They may have given us a few hints but maybe not enough information to actually know how to access a miniheist. I'd even be down for a micro-heist or two, lol.

Yeah, Captain Obvious called MacHeist and wanted his thread back, lol.

I'm just trying to figure out if people are asking these questions because they are really curious, or if they are just searching for a reason to post a new topic so they get rewards.

I wonder if the winning team does in fact get some sort of prize for being the winning team- or maybe the "losing" team will get something extra for not picking up as many points. . who knows?

I think it would be pretty sweet to have a hidden/secret mission for the next MH4 or something. Who knows if there was one now though.

Although, I doubt I would be the one who finds it. I struggle with the missions now. Haha.

In MH3, there were hidden prizes on the front page of the site (dragging the image of the "Macritte" painting off the window and there was loot hiding behind it!).  I loved the notion that there were easter eggs hiding here and there like that -- it lent a lot of credence to the 'heist' mood -- and would like to see more of them.  Maybe we'll get one around Easter???

I've been wondering about this too.  This is my first MacHeist spree so I've enjoyed uncovering the clues but am still getting the hang of it all (especially since I had never played Sudoku before, though that was fairly intuitive.)  Will be keeping my eyes open and share what I find if I find it...  Loving it all so far.  :-)

Here's a question while we wait for something to happen:

If you found a secret heist, and you were the first/only person that knew about it, would you:

A. Post about it here (or outside of your HQ)
B. Only post about it in your HQ so your team gets more points
C. Not post about it at all because your selfish and dont want others to get points
D. Not post about it at all because it's lame anyway.

post your replies!

The intention would be A - but I'd probably have to choose between about 30 new threads entitled "New Secret Heist"...
