Since I made a lot of screencaps along the process of completing the mission, I might as well throw stuff together here.

First, unless you have already done this: Watch the briefing.

Next, click on this image below the video:

http://holding.macheist.com/evidence/evidence.jpg

It will lead you to holding.macheist.com/evidence where you'll find a pile of stuff.

First, click this yellow bar:

http://files.seems.nl/images/evidence-20090315-020700.png

It'll give you the an envelope, click it again and a piece of paper will appear. Click again to enlarge it, it contains hints (like #7: 8 S on a S S, which means "8 Sides on a Stop Sign") on putting items in the correct spots. You can figure this out on your own, or use this image:

http://files.seems.nl/images/evidence-2 … 015022.png

NOTE: If you can't see the whole thing your resolution is too small, which happens to be the case on even recent MacBooks, so chances are you need to zoom out using cmd - or View > Zoom out in the menubar.

After you've put an item in it's correct box, a small piece of paper will appear over it, you can click them, but you don't have to. When you're done with all the items you'll be taken to a new black page with all the pieces of paper. If you put these together it'll read "portalplayer". Put this in the time machine bar at the top:

http://files.seems.nl/images/evidence-1-20090315-020938.png

Note: If you're not seeing this bar, try clearing your cache and start over.

Voila, done. You'll be taken to your loot and you'll find the debriefing in your briefings page.

Ah, well I read a lot of comments from people who couldn't find items in the pile, but I see you've added a link to my image as well. smile I'm a bit hesitant to delete it because I don't like deleting threads in general, so it'll probably just sink to the bottom.

His was after he had moved the objects, mine shows where they are before and how they are hidden under things. Thanks anyway.

Because his is a walkthrough, and yours, at the time you created it, was a place to work with others to solve it.  When you posted yours, it was full of blanks as you figured it out, and his was a complete walkthrough when it was posted.

Hey, when I click and go to the evidence locker page, it only shows the bottom half of the page, cut off at the skeleton's neck. Is the page supposed to display like this, or is there a special step involved to see the top part? I'm using the Safari 4 Beta.

His is a good resource with pictures and mine is without.  I should revise that I think both are good in their own right.  I apologize to SimonK for being a little too irrational.

It took me a while to find the glove and coin. Those were not easy to see at all. Fun mini mission though smile

I tired to avoid looking at the help, but definitely needed it for those items. Thanks!

The trick is not to get too hung up on the paper edges matching. Just look for where the lines match to start, and then when you get bigger chunks together it becomes more obvious...

I was all eager to try and come here and help because I FINALLY figured one out by myself...but it looks like I am late to the party. I'm the guy who brought napkins and everybody was like, "You were late. so we just used paper towels instead". LOL! Maybe next time.
