I just installed it and started trying it out with various sites. So far so good. I have the feeling this will be the most useful piece of loot I've acquired thus far. Thanks Macheist.

I love this app. Have had it since I got in MacHeist 1 or 2 (probably 2) and it saves me tons of time by filling in any form that crops up for me. Version 3.0 coming soon but probably at a cost to upgrade.

Keep up the good work orange smile

Yes I agree. 1password is extremely good, I love how it works across Safari & Firefox. And I think it's amazing that the developers keep giving us free upgrades. THANK YOU.

Based on the awesome service provided to us early macheist giving tree users, I'm definitely buying 1password 3.0. I do hope they offer it to us at a discount though... As the AUD is pretty weak against the USD at the moment.

Please use my referral, I'll remove after I get two! http://www.macheist.com/bundle/u/165993/

THANKS big_smile

It only took a couple of days for me to get hooked on this great app. I'm using it for all my passwords in Safari and Firefox and also for storing serial numbers. I added the free iPhone version and synced everything to the phone.

I tried it but it doesn't really fit in with my workflow unfortunately but it is a top class piece of work. The browser integration is excellent; very handy indeed. I've also been very impressed with the developer too; he's obviously getting involved with all of this as well.

I don't think that's possible if you were too late. Sorry sad However, you can still acquire it from other users who never used their reg. code. There's a thread somewhere about "App trades/giveaways". Check there.

I also love it.  I was using Steel for a while, but it didn't have browser integration.  Definitely a good app, but serves a different purpose.

just being curious: how can 1P not "fit" someones workflow? I mean,  which kind of workflow does allow you to remember your sign-in-information without 1P ( or similar apps)?

I have a question.  I already had a license for this when the giving tree came out so I didn't download it.  My friend just got his first Mac and I was wondering if I could give him the license from the giving tree.  However I don't remember registering it or downloading it from the giving tree.  Am I toast?  Should I of grabbed it then or is it too late?

I'll just chime in with another endorsement of 1password, it (and CSSEdit) is my favorite app from Macheist 2 (and 3 for that matter).  I use it everyday and I love it!  It is definitely worth buying full price.

If you update 1Password to version 2.9.12 you gain the ability to Import from AppShelf property list file. This is the same file format used in the recent MacHeist III bundle.

Quick question. I unthinkingly updated 1Password, and now I'm apparently on trial version. Can I recover my license, or downgrade, or am I just sunk?
Thanks

For further reference on recovering 1Password Licenses, visit AgileSolutions 'Support' page, go under 'Licenses' and click 'Find and resend your license'. Enter your email for the MacHeist account you used to grab 1Password from the Giving Tree, and voilá - Your email and License should arrive within 5 minutes. They also mention, as always, to check your spam box in the event it doesn't show up in that time frame.

Hey!

So, interesting question here.

1Password is my most used app i've won here from MacHeist, as its used on a daily basis. Simply put, I love it.

Well, 2 concern:

1. I'm about to buy a new Macbook. I have a 500GB HD which i'll transfer from my old Macbook over to the new one, but would like to do a clean install on that HD of Leopard all over again since for the past few years i've unfortunately deleted some system files/folders I shouldn't have been messing with. My concern is that i'll have to be willing to completely erase my HD to re-install Leopard from the original Apple discs & I fear this might pose a problem with 1Password. Since 1Password was a gift from MacHeist i'm assuming it would be tough or impossible to retrieve my activation code and just want to be prepared before hand.

2. With Snow Leopard coming out in about a month i'm wondering what possible situations may be posed from installing it. I wouldn't want go through any sort of trouble again with Snow Leopard.

Fix it! Turns out I saved the password when I first got it and downloaded it at macheist so I just put it in. Thanks!

I got an email from Agile today about Snow Leopard. 1password 3 isn't ready for primetime yet, because they thought Snow Leopard still had a month before release. So, if you upgrade, you have the choice to either upgrade to the beta of 1password 3, or they provide instructions on how to get 1password 2 to work (which is in a blog post on their site). They start out by saying that it works pretty well already, and the instructions only mention Safari, so it sounds like it'll be fine with Firefox but I don't know that for sure.

I tried it from every possible direction. For some reason they keep rejecting my credit card, but as I mentioned in an email to them:

It (the card) worked with PixiApps  when I purchased Ecoute today, (which was) after I tried to buy 1Password 3. I then tried to buy (1Password) again after I purchased Ecoute via PayPal, but once again, the card was declined.

Even the PayPal site doesn't work when redirecting from Agile Web Solution's site.

sad

Neither they nor I know what to do.

Wait, so the emails that told me that the MacHeist version were not going to work in 1P3 really did work and I paid an upgrade fee when you guys didn't?

I think I need to call/email them.
