A couple of quick things, unless you subscribe to a service where you actually trade your stocks, ALL stock quotes are delayed 15 minutes.  It is a regulatory thing.  This program is not the Valhalla of stock programs.  I like it because it lets me have a quick look at how my individual stocks are doing and how my overall portfolio is doing (oh my, talking about looking at my portfolio in this market brings a tear to my eyes).  If the exchange is wrong, big whoop, because I have never called NYSE or NASDAQ and said, hey, I cannot find this stock.

Let's finish the heists and bring on the bundle!!!  That is where the real complaining begins.   Great job so far MacHeist!

tumuchtime: I'm glad it finally worked out for you.I want to point out that there is an app with the same icon and it is free! It is called Ticker. It holds the same information on your portfolio and does the EXACT same thing. It even gets the graphs for EACH ONE of your held securities.You can get it at MacUpdate and/or Versiontracker.com I have both and believe me they are very much the same except there is more style and flourish with iStock.

Dark Storm: The reason you don't have iStock in your loot is because you didn't go to the new mission from Sophia. It is on the left sideof the briefings window. Go there and click on it and the new briefing will appear. Then you can do the rest of the mission. Let me know what happens!

You probably didn't get iStock because you just entered the gesture without doing the mission. If you go through the whole mission iStock will be in your loot. I have it in mine.

BigMac500: What he said was that he got the same briefing from Sophia that he had before. I figure he didn't click on the new briefing that appears on the left side of the briefings window so he could bring it up and finally complete the mission. Anyway I hope he gets our messages. Thanks for the tip!  I had forced quit once, deleted the app and reinstalled, and still had the same problem.  I didn't think to reopen and try again... but that did the trick.  Seems to be working fine now.

Yep, that did it for me. Thanks cmason. Seems the issue was the redirect from the http://www.palminternal.com/root/ page.

It showed up immediately in my loot.  The only problem I'm having is with the registration.  The email that I received is in French I think and I'm unsure what to enter into the app for registration.  I'm sure I'll figure it out, but that is my feedback.

Yup, same here. Googled the translations too. But hey, now I know that 'steuer' means 'tax' in German, so there's that! I'm sure someone's got the solution someplace on the forums; I'll keep looking.

Peeps, you do realise that if you don't enter your address carefully, it defaults to Germany as your location!!!! It's there when you put in the details to register, and I have a funny feeling that will get to the app too.

I was initially excited about iStock.  Unfortunately, I've had it crash a couple of times already on me.  This does not bode well for a financial application.  I'm hoping that there may be a maintenance release in the near future to address instabilities.

I was looking for a good stock tracking application for awhile, so this app is good.  It is quite rough around the edges but hopefully the developer will update it soon to fix the problems.

Did you do all of the steps of the Mission or just the ending?

I have a small portfolio and will give this program a shot.

I got an invoice after registering but not the serial number.
I just went through the whole online registering and this time i got 2 emails.  One invoice and one with my serial number.

If you have not received the serial number, just go through registration again.

I figured it out, why iStock wasn't showing up.  I did not do the last step on the mission.  When you figure out the puzzle you get to the index of/root page.  there is an instructional button upper right.  Once I "finished" the mission (clicked button), iStock showed up in my loot!

Doesn't even start up on my machine. I get a "quit unexpectedly" everytime I try to launch it.  I'm running 10.5.5

easy to get and easy to use, would have liked a few more variables on the graphs, MACD and stochastics,and would have liked the graphs to have been a little larger. but a good quick easy way to keep an eye on things

I tried out iStock, but the app was very very disappointing. When I open up the chart, it get stuck under the main window and my 15" MBP cannot display everything in one screen. The interface is not so clear and not well presented.

I haven't tried all apps that I got from MacHeist, but this one was the most disappointing one.

Let me just say that this one is waayy too professional-looking and doing.

i have been looking to a app to manage my stock portfolio for a long long time..... its an excellent app .... its clean and slick, absolutely uncluttered, and easy to use.

Although i did face the problem of it hanging and having to force quit it multiple times. But i got my head around it , by removing a the app for the Applications folder to my desktop, and now it works properly.

The support for the app from its official was quite unhelpful though, by a great app non the less !!!!!!

I keep trying to get my license for iStock, but it will no longer accept the coupon code.

You only get it if you were part of the missions.

I've just tried to download and register iStock and couldn't. They wanted to charge me for the app.
I've already bought it.
So I e-mailed them and got this back; What's up, there's no time limit on the loot page. Is there a time limit on the other apps too ?

annotan, maybe you should have read the post right above you, with the quote

iStock was LOOT, not a part of the bundle. The bundle apps usually have their license info on this site for about a year, but the loot apps doesn't last that long — at least they don't have to, it's all up to the developers. The missions was like half a year ago, it's not surprising that all the free loot is still available.
