Have downloaded WireTap Studio included in the MacHeist 3 package.  Am running MacOS 10.5.6 on a Mac Pro.  The .mpkg will will not expand and when I drag into Stuffit Expander it give the following message: "An error occurred attempting to expand/Volumes/WireTap Studio/WireTapStudio.mpkg (A folder was specified when a file was required (Effor #17530).

Please provide help

How do I get the license for WireTap Studio?
I bought the bundle before WireTap studio was unlocked.
I haven't received bundle receipt email yet.

The license code as posted, E6LA-N7EY-S3G9, doesn't work. This seems to happen every time I buy one of these bundled software 'opportunities'. It always turns into a hassle, leaving me vowing not to do it again. But oh, no, THIS time will be different.....not so much.

Has anyone had any success uploading a ringtone to a phone via bluetooth and this software only? I am getting some cryptic -21850 error.

I purchased the bundle prior to the first "unlock" for WireTap.
How do I obtain my license for it?

User ID and license code entered by paste and copy.  Response:  Invalid

I've loaded the program and had the chance to play around with it for a while... sweet!

• Downloaded the WireTap Studio .dmg file
• Ran the installer and chose Customize.
• Customize has Ambrosia Audio Support folder and a bunch of broken trialware.
• There is no apparent ability to install WireTap Studio from the Customize pane, and there is no apparent ability to avoid installing the broken trialware.

How do I install WireTap Studio without the broken trialware?

Never mind -- I dug into the installer package, double-clicked the WTS package, and installed it from there. Seems to be working OK. Not a user-friendly process, but the app looks pretty cool, and it was the app I bought the bundle for, so as long as this end run keeps working, I'm happy.

Same issue. Copy and pasting = "License code is invalid".

I figured out the error, at least in my case... The line return made it unclear whether email or name was user-id. I used email, when I should have used name. My bad...

I bought the bundle prior to reaching the $200,000/Wiretap unlock. I don't seem to be able to find the registration info. I've looked at my receipt (email and online) and it's not there.

Any help would be appreciated.

27 March 2009 Update: I received a new email with the Wiretap info. I actually received a new receipt that showed everything purchased, unlocked and still locked.

If you look at the very bottom of your bundle receipt, there is an URL that will give you your updated receipt with the registration code for WireTap Studio.

Have just downloaded Wirtap Studio And at first it couldn't locate the Library.
The system locatedit and Iopened it.
Then got the message that my trial period had expired - after maybe 25 mnutes! - and I am expected to buy a license.

What's gone wrong? (OS 10.5.5)

I got wiretap in a previous MacHeist package but no password/license nº so when I recently upgraded, I had to subscribe - NOW I'm being asked to subscribe again!.

Where do I go from here?

Well, today i received all the serials but WireTap Studio tells me, that the serial number is invalid. Copy and Paste. Now what?

i bought wiretap within the macheist bundle.
when i try to register it tells me that my code is invalid.

i have tried copy and paste from the macheist receipe site, and also i did habe tried typing it myself - it is still telling me that the code is invalid.

I purchased the MacHeist bundle today (March 30th). The registration code is reported as invalid by the Wire Tap Studio registration screen. Now what?

I downloaded the package an ran the installer.  It appears as though the installer saw my previous version of the application WireTap Pro and it tried to preform an upgrade.  The installer completes, but the application keeps on crashing and won't open.  I still have WireTap Pro and it still opens.

I've registered WireTap Studio but when I'm recording it cuts out thru out the recording telling me that I have a demo. Also, I can't "crop to selection", the buttons are grayed out.

I would like to record a radio show off of a radio (KLIF) stations web site on Saturday morning from 8-12 noon, and put it into I tunes and listen to it on my ipod.  How do I do that.

Where do I put the registration number, after I have paid for and down loaded it.

But i am being presented a screen as if I'm seeking a trial copy. i already paid for the bundle  39.99  or whatever

Why is my single copy of the code being rejected??

Did I have to register?  At time of purchase, 430est  pm   I was not registered. I register before 500pm

I keep getting the same invalid message everytime I attempt to register. I tried typing in user name and registration # and copy and paste. What gives?

I purchased the bundle. JUst realized Wire Tap is included. Already have a license to the software. If I want to give it a friend (I have a couple of folk who just purchased their first Mac!), can I simply give the serial number?
Or , how do I transfer registration?

At the end of installation I got a kernel panic and had to reboot. Brand new mac pro quad core. Here's the stack, it's coming from the driver. Note that I had to escape the 'at' signs below because this silly board software thinks they are email addresses, and it believes that because I'm new I shouldn't be posting email addresses.

How do I fully uninstall this software?

I'm having all kinds of issues getting this program installed.  Initially, I downloaded the 1.08 version via the MacHeist receipt.  Upon running the MPKG installer, it would get to the point where you click the "Install" button, but would go no further.  If you click "Install", the button greys out momentarily like it's trying to do something, then shortly after goes back to normal (and is clickable).  You can do this over and over--nothing. 

Thinking maybe there might be an updated version, I downloaded the 1.09 version from the publisher's website.  Same results unfortunately. 

Any ideas?  I'm running a 2.0GHz Unibody Macbook running 10.5.6.

anyone help?? I was just playing with it a moment ago and now my mac doesn't produce any sound anymore!!

Well, Wiretap seems to install fine. When I tried to open the app, it just bounces in the doc for a few minutes then it goes away.
