Still no reply to my query of yesterday.
"Unfortunately we don't have access to your individual details until the bundle finishes, so I'd recommend emailing MacHeist support if you can't find it when logged in on the MacHeist website. I believe all the information is online in your account." - Acqualia Software
Where to now? Please send license details to my email address at helsef
Had the same problem of registering Picturesque through the install licence link in the bundle receipt email. Workaround: Install licence through the order lookup page on MacHeist.
Go to the order lookup on MacHeists support pages, select MacHeist III, search for Picturesque details and click on the link there. Hope this helps, it worked for me.
Great app and great bundle. Thanks a lot MacHeist ![]()

Ditto with no license. Trying to do what people reccommended in Firefox, safari, and opera will see what works.
EDIT: Ok, dont use your email receipt, go to the one online. You can access it by clicking on the Boing TV link, that will take you to the online receipt. Have picturesque open, click on install license and it will be resolved.
dsiembieda wrote:I have OS X 10.4.11 It says the Picturesque doesn't support this version of OS. How do I resolve this?
You could get Leopard because many of the lovely apps we got via MacHeist only support Leopard (I'm on Tiger too, will be getting Leopard soon because Tiger is becoming obsolete).
Or download the older version of Picturesque from their website http://www.acqualia.com/files/sparkle/p … _1.0.4.dmg
For Tiger users: < further details to kristarella's post >
Version 1.0.5 is downloadable directly from the Acqualia website
After downloading, do the following to get your serial number and app registered:
• Install and start the app and leave it up (do NOT click "Install this update" for the dialog that says "A newer version is available," instead, click "Skip this update")
• Go to Safari, then to your MacHeist Bundle Receipts page (I was using Safari 4 here)
[ go to www.macheist.com (login if necessary) ]
[ click the "View my receipt" graphic in the upper right ]
• Click the "Install license" link in your Picturesque receipt (link should be live)
• If you get a "Failed to Open Page" error, note the URL: your serial # will be shown after your "First Name+Last=..." (also in the error text that appears in the middle of the browser window)
• Copy the serial number portion (select+copy)
• Go back to Picturesque
• Go to the Picturesque menu item. Unregistered users will see an option "Enter serial number" (or something similar)
• Select that, then enter your name and serial # (paste from previous step above)
• If successful, thereafter in Picturesque Preferences and under the Registration section, you will see: "Thanks for Registering" + "Your license information is shown below" + your name + serial #
• Going back to your MH Bundle Receipts, you will see the serial # has registered and is now visible
Yes, a bit long and tedious, but this just worked for me on a G4 PowerBook running Tiger OS. Also, no crashes while using the app on several photos of differing sizes, including saving output (tried JPGs).
For Leopard users, having the app installed and up/running (just having it in your Applications folder does not work) makes the activation from the MacHeist receipts page a one-click affair.
Hope this helps. ![]()

Hi,
I get this message when I go to view my reciept:
"This license temporarily failed to generate. Please be patient as we work to correct the problem."
My licence did not work either!!! I have a watermark on the pictures!
I downloaded Picturesque, clicked "install license" and got this message: Safari can’t open the specified address.
Safari can’t open “picturesque://registration?name=Janice+Hoover&serial=PICQ20M-07C51-QB422-CP011-005K5-J0315” because Mac OS X doesn’t recognize Internet addresses starting with “picturesque:”.
Please advise.
i am running OS 10.4.11, so does this mean i am out of luck on it as well?
thanks anyway, i guess
mattchamp OS 10.4.11 = Tiger. Please see my Post #65 above for instructions - apologies for being unclear about OS name/version #.
For the record,
> if you are on Tiger (10.4.x), use Picturesque 1.0.5
> if you are on Leopard (10.5.x), use Picturesque 2.1.3 (updated from 2.1.1 during activation)
Both downloads are available on the developer's site.
Good luck! ![]()

I've made a mistake! I already own a registered version of Picturesque...
Is there a method to transfer my serial to another person, please?
Picturesque installed fine and says it's registered, but I have the watermark in front of everything I create.

this needed to be done when you were purchasing the mac heist bundle. I don't believe there is a way to do this afterwards.

)
Can't update because Picturesque crashes at startup. And there is no direct download at the developer's site for 2.1.3

After making the bundle purchase, you can contact the developer directly at: contact@acqualia.com
This should be the fastest and most direct source to solve your transfer/download/version/registration issues.
Of course, they may also be overloaded with inquiries from MacHeist people, so please be patient ![]()

need license
The Florida Macintosh Users Group often purchases these bundles and then gives away individual programs at our meetings, as door prizes. At the time we make the purchase, we have no way of knowing who the winner will be. It would be nice, for this program, and the others, not to require installation as part of the registration process. The only computer we want the program installed on is the one belonging to the winner, not the one who made the initial purchase, and who needed to do so to beat the deadline. What a mess.
Picturesque installed fine and says it's registered, but I have the watermark in front of everything I create.
You probably haven't registered it yet... Try clicking the "install license" button in your receipt..
“For I dipped into the future, far as human eye could see, Saw the vision of the world, and all the wonder that would be”
I just purchased Picturesque as part of MacHeist 3. I copied and pasted the Code into the registration, and used the same name I always do, but it claims that the Registration Failed.
It would not register...now what?
This license temporarily failed to generate. Please be patient as we work to correct the problem.
need license!!!!!!!!!!!!
Everything is my fault
Still crashes immediately once a picture loads for me. Someone please please help.

I can't get 2.1.6 working at all, although registration went fine. Whenever I drop a photo in, do my editing and then click "save as," Picturesque crashes, and makes my Mac unstable and everything goes down the crapper. I have to hold the power button to turn off my Mac and restart.
I'm on 10.5.8, no issues like this prior to installing and running Picturesque.
no license for me in brazil.
no license for me in brazil.
You waited for over a year before saying anything about it?
You can try http://www.macheist.com/support and open a ticket, I guess. I don't know how long it'll be before someone looks at it though.
