I prefer to download the new version and keep a copy of that rather than update online, but I always keep a copy of the original download version.

Invalid code.  OK so I reinstall the version I downloaded from my Loot.. Invalid code!  I'm locked out of AllSecure and have a 5 minute time-out after after 3rd try to re-register.

I re-apply for my licence and the result is precisely the same as the licence I already have.

Anyone else having trouble?

I'm currently hugely relieved that all my sensitive data is still in Wallet & 1 Password respectively and if my trial data in AllSecure is lost simply for trying to upgrade I'll never be able to trust it in the future.

Mark.

Odd - I updated to 1.1.1 with no problem. I've done all of the updates since this was placed in the loot and upgraded with no issue. I'd contact the developer.

Same experience here - no problems. Glad to know this, too - I was curious as to whether this was a version-limited app, and am pleased to see that so far, it is not...

I am having the same issue as the OP, but it requests a password not registration code.  This is very frustrating... Anyone any ideas?

I just bothered to boot this for the first time... it asked me for a password I don't know :s

Oh well, I'll leave that alone then, I'm not going to get locked out of important stuff...

I'm not sure how I fell about this app. I find the interface a bit odd.

I like this app. My only complaint is that I can't have custom icons for each item in the vault. <.< Which would make this really nice for application licenses/app file backups. I'm looking at LicenseKeeper and Wallet otherwise. I wonder if something like this will be in the bundle?

I actually prefer wallet from the last heist to AllSecure. Fired it up and tried to get use to it, but wallets ease of use and the fact I have so much data in it has made me get AppZapper on AllSecure.

I noticed many people stating they use AllSecure to store their apps serial/license information and then use 1password for everything else. Why not put the data into a secure note in 1pass rather then use two different programs? What's the advantage to entering this data in AllSecure?

you can't add licence files  or normal files/folders to 1password. that's the main difference

The password is entered when you first installed the program.  I think the message was something like, don't loose your password otherwise your data is lost. (because it is encrypted)

if you can't remember your pw, just delete your ~/Library/Application Support/AllSecure folder and then you should be able to make a new vault and create a new pw.

check the loot section for serials.
But allsecure serial is not available any more if you follow the link.

Get 2.5GB for Dropbox for free. 1) Use this link to get you and me 250MB extra for Dropbox. 2) Then click  here and become a guru. Thank you.

I have the same issue. New installation of SL and now I no longer have the serial.. then I see they no longer provide it! I find it very appalling.

Seriously? An app that you got for free many months ago and you have the audacity to imply that you're entitled to an upgrade for an app that you would normally have to pay for anyway?

No. That I find very appalling. Loot is a promotional tool. Not a giveaway for eternity.

And it's certainly not their fault that you didn't think to backup or save the registration information for your loot apps.

Yeah, but it still sucks when you go back to look through all your loot and see that you forgot to download one and now can't get it anymore. It does have a much sleeker UI than 1password but they are coming out with a new version soon that I hope will remedy that. Also, one password's integration with browsers and hot keys are amazing!

Keep up the good work orange smile
