This from WorldofApple.

Amazon has started taking pre-orders for Snow Leopard and one option is a Box Set including iLife09 & iWork09.

I never did upgrade to the 09's so looks like I'll be doing the whole lot in one go! big_smile

I'm just gonna go for the $29 box (or actually 299 SEK or whatever the Swe price will be). I already have iWork '09 and I don't have any use for iLife — but man, that's a hell of a deal. And MS says Mac is expensive tongue

I've waited on updating iLife/iWork for Snow Leopard.... hopefully the bundle takes into account the $29 OS price.

I read an article today that said Snow Leopard is the number one seller on Amazon right now.

No the upgrade price is _only_ for Snow Leopard, when moving from Leopard, regardless of iLife/iWork status.

The "Box Set" ( Snow Leopard, iLife and iWork ) will include the full (non-upgrade) version of Snow Leopard, and will home in at $169 ($229 for the Family Pack Box Set).

Hmmm, I hadn't factored that I already have Leopard into the savings...

It's still $18 cheaper than buying iWorks09, iLife09 & Snow Leopard though, and I guess I could also buy the Snow Leopard upgrade and put the the full version on Snow leopard on ebay.

Sounds like too much hassle for a few $ for me.

I'll still but the bundle for the $17 saving though smile

What would be sweeter would be an iLife09/iWorks09 only deal for us upgraders.

I am wondering about this bundle, or whether to wait and get an iWorks/iLife 10 when it appears. I don't actually need them as yet.

I probably want Pages some time, but AppleWorks is still Ok, and a newer iPhoto would be of use but again not essential.

My bets are that Apple will do a similar pre-order program and have it to your home on day one, as opposed to day two or three with Amazon. I am fairly patient, except when it comes to Apple products!

Pre-order? Why? I'm going to be waiting in line at the Apple Store! tongue I'm getting the family pack. I already have iWork and iLife 09, so I just need the upgrade for 2 (maybe 3) comps. xP

Maybe for people in areas/countries that doesn't have an Apple Store?

That would be a good reason, if only Amazon didn't post this restriction:

amazon.com wrote:
