I got mine...But I don't think I was supposed to.

The computer is doing exactly what I told it to do.  The Problem?  I don't know what i told it to do.

Either we had a ton of downloads in the past few minutes or the system is malfunctioning because I have licensing info already.

Please read the front page before you post. Mariner Write will not be available until 500,000 people download the bundle. People who got their Mariner Write serials prematurely did so only through an error in the system.

Again: you will NOT get your Mariner Write serials until 500,000 people have downloaded the bundle.

after 2 hours... no license key for Mariner Write...

its asking for a license key.

I've tried four times to DL Mariner Write, but every time it tries to open it, I get this error message: "An error occurred attempting to expand 'marinerwrite39.zip'. Format error. Error #17540." Anyone else have this problem?

App will not open, does not give opportunity to enter license key.

Everybody. PLEASE look at the front page, it shows that this application will not be unlocked until 500,000 people have downloaded this bundle.  There is even a nice progress bar showing how far we have left to go.  Please don't ask for keys!

But a key won't do much good when the app won't even open to give me the opportunity to enter it.  Right now when I double-click on the app, the icon appears in the dock for about half-a-second, then goes away.

You could try deleting your pref files...download an app called "preference cleaner".  Google it.  Drag your app onto preference cleaner, delete it's preferences, and then relaunch your app. See if it launches.

I get a 17540 error when trying to unzip. Should that happen at this stage?

Sounds like a bad download. The file on the server itself is fine (I just downloaded it without issue), so just try downloading again.

I have downloaded it 4 times and have gotten the 17540 error all 4 times.

Okay, so lets assume 500,000 people register and download MarinerWrite,  Will they email me my "activation code" or will I have to hunt it down.  Incidentally this was the only software that I had any real interest.  So does anyone know?

Tried it -- it downloaded fine, but when I double-click to open it, it looks like it's opening but then it vanishes from the dock almost as soon as it appears. What the heck is going on, I wonder?

Please stop asking for a license key.

No one is supposed to get their keys until we reach 500,000 downloads. If you want it faster, tell your friends. That's sort of the idea here.
