I got Twitterific, entered name and serial. Says "thanks for registering....".
But, I can't quit the program. The quit button doesn't work. I don't get a drop down menu from the bird in the menu bar.
Doesn't show up in Force Quit menu.
help?

I'm the same, says serial is invalid.

Edit: fixed, I didn't copy/paste my name, typed it and left a letter uncapitalized.

I have the free Twitteriffic program (I love it!)--how do I install this version? Do I delete the old one first, overwrite it, what? Thanks!

I was thinking the serial wasn't working as well, it turns out I was putting my email address in as the Registered User instead of the proper name..  Once I put in "Ron Pepin" instead of my email address it worked!  I hope this might help some of you out who might be making the same mistake.

My email was wrong so I changed it, the licenses are under the incorrect email. How do I fix this? And even when I use the "incorrect" email twitterific says its not valid.

Some apps have to call home to make sure serials are correct and with all this traffic, servers are stressed so patience is the key.

Furthermore, can you people stop spamming the forums with useless information and upload a avatar as your hard to identify without one.

Serial worked when I changed the email address for my real name.

HOW TO QUIT - click the spanner at the bottom of the twitterific window.
There's a 'Quit Twitterific' button

OK guys, hopefully I can help.

If your serials aren't appearing, just wait for them. Patience.
In the app, Twitterrific, in the first box enter your name. E.g. my one would be Matthew Lowery, the one you used when you got the NanoBundle.
To quit the app, you can either press CMD + Q, or press the settings button, bottom left, and click Quit Twitterrific.

Hopefully I helped.

EVERYTHING (REGISTRATION) WORKS!!!

Steps for those people that are having problems:
1. go to the macheist nanobundle license page and copy your full name.
2. while leaving the webpage open, open titterrific and click in the tool in the bottom left of the window.
3. go to the register tab
4. paste your full name into the name area
5. while leaving twitterrific open, go back to the macheist nanobundle receipt page and copy the code
6. go back to the titterrific register tab and paste the code where it says "number"
7. under the "number" field a message will appear: "Thank you for registering this copy of Twitterrific!". Click "ok" in the bottom right corner.

i hope that this is detailed enough for all those people that are whining about codes that don't work.

Twitterific is a brain-dead stupid app.  EVERY OTHER twitter client I've used (over two dozen) can deal with my non-alphanumeric characters in my password (which I consider essential).  Twitterific says "it's a problem with the twitter API".  No, it's clearly a problem with the twitterific programmers, and they should just fess up and say "no, we're stupid here, sorry, and because of our inability to program, you have to make your twitter password less secure".  Lose.  Big Lose.  No way I'm using twitterific with that dain-bramage.

To enter your serial number for Twitterrific, click the preferences icon (the wrench) and then click the "Register" tab. Enter your user name EXACTLY as you registered with MacHeist (including capitalization) and make sure there are no extra spaces or hidden characters.

I had an existing registration and it sent that serial number instead of giving me a new one. I'd figure I should have two serials now, not one; can an additional one be issued?

Thanks.

Some they do and some they don't and some you just can't tell.
Some they will and some they won't and some it's just as well!

If you have some a problem with Twitterrific, then back off. Why even post in this thread? Have a problem either send a message to the Twitterrific's Twitter page, or send an email. Some of us come here for support, not hear you complain.

zboy88 wrote:

It's quite easy,

1. Open up Twitterrific
2. Open Preferences (Command+,)
3. Click on 'Register'
4. Enter your name and 6 DIGIT serial number, that was provided from the NanoBundle.

• Don't know where your serial number is? Go to the MacHeist website, and click on the "Go to my receipt" button.
