Yes, you read me right.

Apparently the system that The Directorate set up to auto-generate AppShelf files for MH3 also works for the nanoBundle, and also retroactively for the MH2 and MH1 bundles too (I think).

It's very simple - paste this URL into your browser (but don't let your browser actually go to that URL): http://www.macheist.com/order/appshelf

At the end of that URL, post your bundle receipt ID. (For the nanoBundle, your bundle receipt ID would be at the end of the URL for your bundle receipt, e.g. http://www.macheist.com/order/nano/YOURBUNDLEIDHERE )

So at the end, the URL in your browser should look like this:

http://www.macheist.com/order/appshelf/ … DLEIDHERE/
(It's important that you have that "/" at the end of that URL.)

Then press return.

Your browser should automatically download an AppShelf file with your nanoBundle serials all filled in. Import into AppShelf and enjoy!

Many thanks go to henriwatson from the Blue team, who led us to this hot tip over MH Chat (And for catching the error I made over the ending slash in the URL). smile

rampancy: Thanks for the post!

This should work on any other bundle which had a receipt (so no loot unfortunately)

Great tip! I imported the appshelf file into 1Password and all I had to input after the import were the names. That's pretty sweet.

^5 !

This saves some typing smile

Also, if you want to change the default app icon, while in edit mode just drag the application onto the app icon and it will update.

erm...

I followed the link http://www.macheist.com/order/appshelf and I appear to have downloaded some serials that are not mine. Registration details of someone else and a few have serials.

Where should I report this?

Great tip, would be even better to add an "Add to AppShelf" button though on the receipt page itself! smile

MacUpdate.com has this whenever you buy stuff, you can add it on the receipt page just by clicking the App Shelf button.

Didn't work for me.

I downloaded via

http://www.macheist.com/order/appshelf/ABCDEFGH

where ABCDEFGH... was from my receipt at:

http://www.macheist.com/order/nano/ABCDEFGH

and received an appshelf file that I opened with appshelf but the serials weren't loaded into appshelf.

I could however import the file into 1Password and add the app names.

And by the way it says in the files that the price of the Nano Bundle was $39. This is probably a leftover from MH3.

What exactly did you get when you opened up AppShelf? Did you double-click on the .appshelf file or did you attempt to export it into AppShelf manually?

I am another one who has crossed some sort of warp barrier. Someone else's apps from a different time and place (probably a 10 bundle it seems) with no Appnames (so it's not easy to check which bundle).

Posted here in case I can't PM one of the Directorates.

Drag the Macheist file onto the 1Password icon.

The macheist file is a Plist file and for some reason didn'i include the appNames. Probably a good idea to edit the names into it before trying to go to 1P.

Also you need to have 1P unlocked for the import to work.

N.B. these instructions work for 1Password 3-beta-85. Can't guarantee for earlier betas or 1Password 2.

Thanks, that's a nifty tip! (even if app names & version #s aren't imported it seems.) Now all I have to do is get AppShelf to successfully import my CSV file of older registrations from another DB app, and I'll be all set!

Looks like when nothing is passed in where the bundle ID should be, you get Steven's stuff. Only has 3 actual serials in mine.

Fixed. Closing this thread since we are not distributing AppShelf files for this bundle.
