Well.. There really are no more hints for that section.. If you don't now how the answer functions then you can't solve the level.. Maybe you should google the answer and see how it functions..

as your giving the clue to think XML here, was there a clue on/in/around somewhere on that page that was to prompt us to think XML or was it just trial and error intended to find it?

It was intended that you would be smart enough to investigate without that hint

I did investigate, but it is not working... I can't get past the XML part of it...

In future im going to have to keep XML in mind then its not something I think of by default when it comes to this kind of thing, but I guess as you do more of the user made heists it helps you learn the tricks

I did find there were 1 or 2 bits after the xml that had me scratching my head for a while   Its a wonderful feeling when you finally get it, but I did have a sudden desire to see Professor Layton slowly start smiling then point his finger at me when I was done... Ok no more of that game for Sal!

For those on that level, don't overthink it.. You might just miss how simple it is.. For example, f16332 used an application to view the page source.. A simple Right-click -> view page source will suffice.

Just finished it, like some people I got stuck at the Happy Holidays, but the XML hint worked XD.....great heist lots of fun.

Well, actually, in the "official" MacHeist heists, the use of source code is expressly forbidden.  So rather don't use any of these techniques there...
