Can the codes I get expire? I can't use them for several months. What if the program version changes, will I be out of luck?

all of the license you get will be usable on that version of the application forever. In the case of applications included in the mac heist bundle those have the same upgrade policies as any other license so when a new version comes out you will need to see what the devs offer for upgrades. (usually a discount).

most of the licenses will be still working for all the minor updates. if the app is at 1.0 then usually all the 1.x updates are free and you may need to pay some upgrade fee when 2.0 comes out.

How do you say goodbye?

Might be simplest to download them all now - save the licenses from your receipt of course. Then you know that what you bought will work, and you can upgrade what's upgradable when you install.

I would save the apps in their current version with your serials, just to be safe. Burn them to a CD or something, and then when you install them you can upgrade.

A good idea is to also download the apps. There are a couple that are MacHeist specific and you can not get them from the developers web site. Or they are older versions that may not be kept on the developers web site. Many people make a DVD/CD or the apps for future reference.
Please be aware that once a new mission starts, previous versions of LOOT are not available for download.
