Where is the Secret Code Panel?
Hi, everyone!
I've had finished right now the 4th heist, but i cant enter the secret code, because there are no panel at the right top.
WHERE IS IT!??
All i can see is something like this:

thesekeys, you may be right. I was reading another posts, and i'm not the only one who is suffering about this issue, so i've got to relax, and wait till it ends and reappear the code panel.
My thought is that it's not available, is because the "special $49 discount" the macheist people is doing at home page. You can see it if you want at http://macheist.com/.
I hope that this thing appears and let me continue. I really want that apps!

I just got the solution ! That's worked fine for me
Try that :
Create a html page (with a text editor, NOT TextEdit) named MacHeist.html. Fill this document like that :
<form action="http://macheist.com/code/check/**COMBOCODE**/" method="post">
<input type="hidden" name="sleep" value="1"/>
<input type="submit"/>
</form>Where **COMBOCODE** is your combo code for the vault.
Save your work, and open this document with a web browser. Hit the button, you'll now see a web page with the traditional opening vault animation.
After, go to http://macheist.com/loot
That's it !

i have no idea how to go about this....i only have text edit and am not familiar with text editor. anyone can help? also i feel like the directorate's kinda jipped us with ending the heists so early. yes this whole thing is completely voluntary on their part but they are going to make alot of money of us and i feel like we do have SOME right to complain. am i wrong?

I feel a little taken on a heist myself. I was not notified that #4 or #5 started and I come here an find out that #4 still shows open in my Briefings #5 is still to come and they are already displaying the bundle. I went ahead and solved #4 after seeing the post about how to submit it, but it doesn't work. I tried to complete #5 per the information on the briefing I found and the Tips page on Macupdate is no longer valid, so I can't get my code for #5. Can someone tell me the code so I can at least get something for my troubles.
Or better yet, can MacHeist give us a chance to complete #4 & #5?

Works similarly to the other workaround except you don't have to save a file. This adds a small form into the webpage you're looking at: just copy and paste this into your address bar and submit the code using the text field and button that appear immediately below the navigation bar of this webpage.

Also, I'm frustrated because I received my code for heist 4 via PM yesterday yet I can't get it to work... Perhaps it was because I went on to #5 while waiting to receive it?? Grr.

Sorry, I wasn't able to get your javascript to run in IE, FireFox, Camino or Safari. Thanks for trying though. Of course if it basically works the same as the other workaround then #4 code won't work any way, and I don't have #5 code because it won't allow me to retrieve it.

I've tried it in multiple browser and I still can't seem to get the "5150" code for Heist 4 to work

Sweet thanks a lot. Word to the wise though. If you use MS Word to edit it (because it says don't use Textedit) then you need to click "View Source" I think it is under the View menu. Enter the text there, not in the normal edit window, because in the normal window it will add a lot of markup, so that all you will see if you open it in a browser is the text you've entered. Not sure if that's very clear but essentially you have to enter it in the source of your window not just save it as a webpage.
This is in reference to the 'create your own page' solution, not the java solution.

Worked SO well. I was gonna upload it to my website, and then I was just like, can't I run it from my desktop (I was at work using windows) and it worked perfectly! I was SO happy

Instead of messing with word use vim in terminal
run terminal
vim macheist.html <--- creates the file
hit i (for insert)
paste
hit esc
then type :wq and hit enter
End result you'll have a file named machiest.html in your home directory. VIM won't add any additional characters/formatting so nothing to worry about

I got it!
Users had to have completed heist 4 (not just get the code from the walktrough).
I followed the walkthrough and got a reply from Nick.
I did not get a PM at MacHeist.com, but I went ahead and tried the javascript hack from this thread with the code 5150.
Worked!
