Finally, some actual progress. I like that idea and it makes sense that it could be in that time frame.
Ok, if that's correct, here's my stab at it:
The "Coming this year" message can only be read in reverse, but the "symbol" message needs to be read unreversed. If that's correct, what I get is: MacHeist (iOS icon) bundle (the box) being held over April 21-May 20 (taurus). Details about it to come through (the funny "Z" thingy) electronic mail (envelope with the "swoosh" lines).
So for now, we watch Twitter, RSS, DM's, email, forums etc.
My guess about the MacHeist iOS icon is that the heist information will come through a new MacHeist desktop/iphone app, to be sold for free through the MAS (except of course, if Apple raps their knuckles again because of the Twitter back door).

I can't find a way to challenge that idea. I do hope a heist comes soon, though. It's been too long.

B58 does work fine on 10.6.6, and despite my best efforts I just couldn't accept Launchbar as a replacement. I don't need new features, just bug fixes, and that's what QS has gotten.

Did anyone notice that today Twitter App from the App store has been updated (2.0.1) and apparently it doesn't include the secret panel anymore?
Also, the App Store is telling me I have the latest version (2.0.1) when I still have version 2.0.

I still have the black icon version... and the App Store wont let me update it... Is it to prevent MacHeist users to update and lose our secret panel?
I would post a screenshot... but I can't since I'm new to posting.
UPDATE: Also, since I couldn't update Twitter vis the App Store since it wasn't letting me... I deleted the app myself and installed the new version.
I run the new version.. and I couldn't access the panel anymore using the keys!
So I deleted the new one and replaced it with the original black icon version from the trash.. and I can access it again.
They must've put something in the app to tell the App Store that we don't need updating at all..
I feel something big coming on...

The game is afoot. Very much agreed with the dating idea from the Taurus symbol - think that might be a timeframe for something.
And yes, that DOES look exceedingly like an iOS icon.
Guess we wait and see. But seriously - doubt this is a Twitter feature timeframe. Why link to MH Forums, Backroom other then a start of... something.

We don't know if they're permanent. Seems to me that every time a new season starts, there's a new site layout and forum scheme. I doubt the next season will be different in that regard.

Just FYI: Twitter for Mac 2.0.2 actually includes the original black icon in its resources folder. To restore, type into Terminal:
sudo mv /Applications/Twitter.app/Contents/Resources/Icon2.icns /Applications/Twitter.app/Contents/Resources/Icon.icns

That quote was done wrong. kudioske said the 2nd half, but it was actually cfm24 that wrote the first half and predicted the dates.

Or if you go by the new Zodiac Dates Taurus is now May 13-June 21, so instead of worrying that time is running out maybe it's just starting? Or at least in this case we have an extra month bumper if by May 20 nothing happens.

It's a bit clearer in the picture posted in the Heist > Secret Found thread. (Sorry can't post links yet)
The wavy box is actually a micro. That dot in the corner tells you the position of pin 1.
The second looks like a pair of linked nodes.
The third the symbol for taurus. (different from the symbol for mercury as one poster guessed)
Last box/cube/bundle/package/dunno.
