How did you find the last one? I was looking in Unsanity based on Macupdate's search.

Anyone notice the bad image URL on the website?

ftp://82.165.156.231/file.jpg

FTP to that site and look at Desktop/Plan.txt.

Lisa, instructions here. If you have questions, email me, brian@maczot.com.

1.  Create a believable developer persona over the week. It must be convincing enough to fool MacUpdate into believing he or she is real.

2.  Somehow convince them to implicate themselves with involvment. Not sure how yet, but perhaps a fabricated heist puzzle might do the trick.

3.  You must convince the directorate of MacUpdate's plans to sabotage MacZOT with a spoofed email address. I am emailing you with instructions on how to do that.

4.  I have a programmer working on an app to "crack" the zot mailbox I have set up. I have instructed him to send this to you as soon as it's ready for delivery to the directorate, again through a spoofed MU email.

5.  If they are suspicious, do everything you can to convince them.

6.  DO NOT leave ANY evidence of your involvement or mine.

If these steps are accomplished as requested, you will be handsomely compensated, and of course your stake in iusethis.com should become more valuable as MacUpdate's name is smeared.

I'd like to thank you again for being so receptive to this plan... good luck, and keep me posted.

I see, just typing the id # directly in the URL. Doing a search was not needed.

You don't read very well do you......

Come on man, everything is outlined in this thread as well as the Heist 5 thread.  Email the stuff in the text file using the MacUpdate link provided in the briefing.

I have to be blind, because the only thing that is next to hubert is a link to the site's terms and conditions.

A screenshot to help me, maybe?

Another weird going-on is that I only seem to have one page of the briefing for heist 5. It ends after the email link to Nick's website. I don't seem to have the link for macupdates' internal website. Am I just being silly or am I forgetting to 'turn' the page? Anyone else have the same problem?

Try refreshing the page.  Sometimes the browser screws up loading the briefing page.

Thank you.

It's strange, because now when I go to discoapp I can see the puzzle piece perfectly clearly. I swear it wasn't showing where it should be on my browser before.

Ha ha, no problem mirrorchild,  and thanx warbrain, but all the refreshing in the world isn't helping. Also still haven't got my registration through for photostickies or even today's macappaday!

I got my serial to photostickies today.  I did it twice to see if maybe I screwed up and used my non-MacHeist e-mail but it worked in both.  Same serial for both, too.

Today's MAAD, however, hasn't come yet.  I suspect we swamped them.

And sorry that it's not working with the reload.  Maybe try emptying your cache and see if that helps.  I know that Camino screws up on it sometimes.

I'm not that concerned, and even if I was, I doubt that it won't work since they probably gave away all 5000 licenses today...

That is a website, if you just replace the "dot" with .  And it says you will get access to Total Recall when it comes out.

If you go to http://thelaststepsarethehardestonestotake.com

You get the message about a JPEG-file is missing. I tried to go to the FTP-adress and came to a server. In the Desktop-folder you get this file:
ftp://82.165.156.231/Desktop/Plan.txt

I havn't put too much time to the previous heists, so this might already be known.

Anyway, it says:

Lisa, instructions here. If you have questions, email me, brian@maczot.com.
