Thats nuts, how could they expect the entire Macheist community to buy plane tickets and Expo passes to Macworld to get a $30 app for free.

I'm sure it will be Macworld themed, but attendance will not be necessary. Maybe it will have much to do with the Stevenote tomorrow.

I think your right. Often conferences will have the floor open the day before the official expo kickoff.

Unfortunately I think Macheist is dead in the water. It sucks, leaving us hanging and not finishing what they started. There is allot that can be said about following through. Not that I have completely given up, but my faith is getting smaller. I am not angry at the loss of free apps but the loss of completing a really cool event that brought a good section of the Mac community together. We are what keeps Apple alive and it is cool to have us all together, united.

Oh do shut up.

Seriously, give them a break. There's no hurry for Heist 6. Yes, I'm looking forward to it, but I can wait. Just be patient and don't complain!

Dude, it's been a month. They made it seem like it would happen during MacWorld and pulled a fast one on us. There's been no word from anyone about when it's going to be, it seems the creators have left us dead in the water. Also, I have *not* heard good things from the developers of these shareware apps. Not good things at all...

I'm thinking MacHeist died.

Well, that is ... IMHO it DOES matter how I behave, what I make fun of, whether I respect what/who deserves respect, sometimes also what I know -- especially if I open my mouth, etc. etc.

My "are you 13?" question plus the jumping happy smilie was just kidding (may I kid, being this old?), there's nothing wrong with being 13, or 6, or 80.

I don't think they have. Right now John Casasanta is online, and just posted, so that means that he still checks the site. Which means that he hasn't forgotten about us. Which means that heist 6 is still a very strong possibility. Which means.... well I'm not quite sure what that means.
