Trampoline refuses to launch for me. Doesn't even show up in the dock. CoverSutra is apparently Tiger-only, since it appears briefly and then quits. CaptainFTP's registration process is VERY IRRITATING, and that isn't helped by the slow server, which has been processing my absurdly-long hand-entered coupon code for the last five minutes.
In other words, good heist, bad loot, at least so far.
The CaptainFTP order process just died and now I have to re-enter the insanely long coupon code that's stuck in an image. If this is how all their products must be registered, I'm staying away.
Maybe I hate everything. Or maybe I just hate you.
try again tomorrow - there are WAY TOO MANY people trying to register their apps right now.

My guess is the too many people trying to register is due to the knucklehead who posted the combination on digg.
Bad command or file name. Go stand in the corner
Finally got it registered. It looks like Transmit if it were ugly and nonstandard.
He REALLY needs a new artist, and he also needs to learn to follow Apple's UI guidelines, and use standard widgets instead of randomly making his own.
It's free for us, and it works fine, but I'd never pay money for it.

Sorry to resurrect a dead horse here, but Trampoline is 10.4-only.
That being said, it totally, oh so totally, rocks. The animation is the right balance between functional and fancy, it works cleanly, and it stays out of your way until you need it. I have to say this almost blows similar utilities like Overflow out of the water - and that's coming from a big Overflow fan.

I have to say, as much as I think Sophie is incredibly hot, there's little reason for people who use QS or Butler as their iTunes controllers to switch over...
And I agree with you on Captain FTP's UI. Between Captain FTP, YummyFTP, Fetch and Cyberduck, Captain FTP's design isn't the prettiest of the bunch.
Marathon Forever.
AppShelf: MacHeist 3 Loot
AppShelf: nanoBundle 1
Check Reciept Page for nanoBundle 2 AppShelf Files.
heh - haven't played with any of the apps myself yet. Too busy doing other things. Wish I had more time. That's what should be loot for the next heist (MH2): extra time.

Did anyone else thing the Captain FTP registration process was idiotic and overly complicated? Or is it just me and my impatience?
+1
Well, it wasn't any more time/labor intensive as, say, what you had to go through to get the apps from DEVONtechnologies. Give them your name and email, then give them the promo code.

Yes, it was more labor-intensive. I was forced to hand-copy a 12-digit "coupon code" from an image with instructions in small print. And I use tabbed browsing, so I had to keep flipping back and forth. Then the site went down, etc.

Yeah that was retarded. And in the end we get this app.
I really feel terrible looking down upon the loot and disgracing CFTP, because it is very powerful and feature rich.
But to say that the app is very ugly and doesn't follow the HIG - is an understatement.
How could the pioneers of the Delicious Generation do this?
I will try it out, but I really like Transmit.
Coversutra = love.
Trampoline = Too addicted to QS.
