So... where are the videos, where are the screenshots, where are the Atmosphere and Cookbook previews? Not everybody lives on the West coast/stays up until midnight.

Until we see those (I hope it will be sooner than later
), you can see photos of the party (not the apps, unfortunately) here.
Back on my two feet
Ars Technica has a report and some photos. No word of the Atmo or Cookbook demoes, however
Read it here: http://arstechnica.com/journals/apple.a … otos-recap

Well, you can see the POmCast guy in some of the photos sprouting up over the web, so hopefully he gets something out soon. hopefully sooner than the last party he attended lol.
Anything? Anyone got anything? Everyone must still be recovering from their hangovers... ![]()
Whistle while you work. Patience is key.
I did sort of realize it's only Monday, everyone probably just flew home and is catching up on all the really important stuff. Still, it's too bad no one planned to give us updates. I would....but I wasn't able to attend. ![]()

Here Thomas: http://www.tuaw.com/2007/06/18/video-in … eneration/
TUAW has video of the party.
Don't watch that video if you get motion sickness or don't like roller coasters. It's good since it's the best we've got so far, but really it's got WAY too much zoom. At least it gives some idea of what went on .... no MDA stuff or Delicious Libary 2 stuff anyway, though some of the other stuff is pretty cool.
Skitch is the best thing I've seen so far, PulpMotion looks pretty cool too.

Yeah, I saw that, but it doesn't have any good stuff... Still complete silence about the MDA apps.
Back on my two feet
From what I gathered, non of the MDA (or any other Leopard only apps) were showed. No one said whether this was technical or legal reasons, but I highly suspect it was legal reasons (stupid Leopard is still under NDA, blah blah).

Yah, I heard that they weren't allowed to show Leopard up on the wall...
Phill has some pictures up and he blogged about it.
Surprised there's still only TUAW's video up from the party. Must be one heck of a hangover...
At least Phill got something up. No one's talking about the MDA apps or anything though. Just seems so weird..

Yeah. The only interesting thing coming is from Ars Technica: they video-interviewed Austin, John and Sophia (from Sophiestication [CoverSutra]). I hope they asked them about the MDA apps and not just about iLikeOlives. They say it's coming soon, along with a vid of the party: http://arstechnica.com/journals/apple.a … eo-roundup

I didn't see that vid. I'll watch it now...

I just got my invite today. Great program, but by no means a "photoshop killer"
Are you actually quoting someone? I've not read all the press about it, but thus far I've seen no one make that claim. It's not intended to be a Photoshop killer. It's not even a graphics/image editor. It's a tool that facilitates and expedites the process of taking a screenshot, resizing/annotating it, and posting it (to Flickr, an FTP server or mySkitch). And what it does, it does very well. plasq is brilliant for making such a mundane task entirely more fun than it has any right to be. =]

I had read a few places where people were touting Skitch as a "photoshop killer", but as you said, that is not the reason why this app was developed.

It says that if I have a friend who is a member that they can give me an invite...
so I don't have to wait "days" to get the legit invite ![]()
Any givers?
Han shot first.
MacApper's videos seem promising, at least a little more than what we've had so far.

Greg, do you have any knowledge regarding if we'll learn what's up with the My Dream App apps?
Back on my two feet
Speaking of the devil, Ars Technica has released their video of charming Jacqui Cheng interviewing John, Austin, and Sophia. John confirmed the MDA apps were not shown at the party because they were Leopard-only, and said this about them: "They're coming along still, we've shown a preview of Cookbook several weeks back now [11 weeks ago, to be more precise], and we have some new stuff that we'll be showing pretty soon." Humph. Also, he said one of the MDA apps would hopefully be released by the end of this year (
) with MacHeist II appearing around October or November and MDA II coming later. Check it out: http://arstechnica.com/journals/apple.a … teutschler
