do whatever you want smile but it was decided in the IRC that mashing keys probably isn't what is increasing the percentage.

as mentioned above, the wiki stage appears to be done, and now it seems we need to post on this thread to increase the "fora" percentage (23% as i post this)

I am now guessing Fora has something to do with either the number of comments in this thread, the number of users commenting, the number of words/letters, or some other volume relating to this thread?

Yes sir, understood.

Ok, it has still been unclear as to what the "10,000 monkeys" is in reference to

I've been pulling down the entire list of codes (my directions on how to do so are over at the wiki) but so far there's no repeats.  I'm guessing they're just randomly generating them to play with our minds.

Is the fora% related to thread posts, or thread posters?

Realistically it's ether database math, or just plain clicking a button.

10,000 monkeys refers to the silly idea that if you give 10,000 monkeys a keyboard and enough time they could write a play worthy of Shakespeare.

Anyone have any ideas about the image?  There are 2 different size files being downloaded - one if you control-click -> Save Image to desktop and another if you drag to your desktop.  When you do the first, the image reports as 1000x1000 - if you do the second, it reports as 20597x19868...

Fora % just dropped to 30, and a couple pages from this thread disappeared.  What's going on?  Are admins cleaning up off-topic posts, or is this some strange "keep ahead of the disappearing thread" game part of the puzzle?

Edit:  Nevermind, I skipped to the last page and didn't see that this had already been brought up.

I know this is in the wiki, but http://skunkworks.macheist.com/inside_ajax? returns a lot of codes to try, and the javascript on the main page submits the key you press to the http://skunkworks.macheist.com/inside_ajax?submit=[key], I wonder if the % is related to how many keys have been entered in to try?

rich, my understanding is that only happens in firefox....i have yet to duplicate that in safari....might mean everything, might just be the way firefox reads it, as such, meaning nothing :-(
