Some people have had issues not getting emails. The number one cause for this is our mailing being detected as junk mail. Check your junk mail folder! If possible, setup a whitelist for directorate@macheist.com

Here I'll go through the process your signup goes through to sort out where you might be caught.

First you sign up with our affiliate link at MacUpdate. Nearly instantly, you should get an email from MacUpdate with a receipt and the licenses for the MacUpdate apps. If you don't receive an email from MacUpdate, first check your spam folder. Then make sure you entered a correct email address. Then email MacUpdate support to try to sort it out.

We get at list of everyone who has signed up through MacUpdate once a day. Once we get this list, we generate redeem codes, and mail them to you. Hence, these should be sent in the worst case 25 hours after you've signed up. If you haven't received an email with a macheist.com redeem code in 36 hours, first check your junk mail folder. Ensure you entered a correct email address. Then PM me the email address you signed up with and we'll look into it.

After you click the redeem link and submit the form, we collect your name, and once a day (at the same time we send out the redeem codes), we send your email on to the developers, who will, at their own time, generate a license key and email it to you. This will be different for the different developers - but should generally arrive within a day. As I understand it, the beta access keys will not be mailed out for a little while longer.

Any Ideas what to do next?

Has anyone gotten their license code for WriteRoom yet?

OK I've checked and some of the Exces licenses have disappeared due to dreamhosts crappiness

Kalleboo-if you get a chance and are fixing stuff, please take a look at the problem Im having with my email from MacHeist.  As Im not the only one having it, Im sure it might prove useful.

So do the people that bought from the macupdate page not get the extra software? I have seen nothing concerning the following
  Linkus
  Exces
  WriteRoom
  PhotoPresenter
  Browseback.
That would really suck if people who went from the macupdate page are not entitled to the titles above as well.

when filling i the form it shows no orders with my e-mail address. Feeling kind of jipped with all the advertising about thi son macupdate and finding that if you did not go through the proper steps you will not get the aplications listed on macheist.

Isn't that a little like being mad that something like a Wii being sold the first day and you find that a buddy bought it elsewhere than you did with a better bundle?

Thanks to a link in another thread, I finally got WriteRoom. I am however missing PhotoPresenter. When will those be shipping out? I'm trying to find out if I'm missing it yet or not...

Just a quick question re. the Macheist goodies associated with the MU promo bundle, as I went thru Macheist to buy the bundle, but never got any info re. the goodies.

That is, I clicked on the Macheist link informing about the bundle, then from the Macheist web site I clicked on the Buy link, which took me to the MU page, which had Welcome Macheisters, and I then bought the bundle and paid thru Paypal. But never got any emails afterwards re. the Macheist goodies.

Just wanted to know if I'm eligible for the goodies or not. If not, no problem, as it must've been my mistake. Thanks.

I just got PhotoPresenter but I'm still waiting for TechTool Pro (not an MH issue!) so I guess I have to track this down via MU somehow. I've gotten everything else we should have I think.

I signed up for the program.  I came to this web site (macheist) and saw all of the programs offered.  I then told my friend sitting next to me, and he purchased it immediately as I sat and thought about it.  I finallly decided I wanted the package, mostly for writeroom and the two betas.  I then asked my friend, hey whats that site again and he told me mupromo.com, so I went there and bought the package.  Afterwards I realized that macheist offers the main programs I wanted only if I go through them as an affiliate.  I know that most likely there is no way to fix this, but I wanted to check.

I will provide any proof necessary that I bought it, and any proof necessary that I saw your site first.  Is there any chance you can get the affiliate credit for my purchase and I can get your applications?

I have purchased the bundle and have received the initial reg codes and the extra code for photo presenter, but have not received any of the additional code the macheist extras.

How do I get hold of these, is there yet another mail which I haven't received yet?

I'm kinda of in the situation as sammcd is there anyway to 'convert' to the macheist  version of the promo, I must admit I understood the promo on macupdate was the same as mac heist ..

You are not alone on the feeling scammed part.

I don't feel scammed in any way.  If I would have read a little more I would have known what is going on.  I am considering buying this again though because I really want the betas.  I just want to know if there is anyway around it.

I reposted in the support area because that is probably a better place for my issue.  Maybe I will get a response before the offer ends.

It sounds like others are seeing the same problem I am.  Yesterday morning, I went through MacHeist to purchase the bundle - and got my email from MacUpdate within minutes.  Its been well over 36 hours since then, but no email from MacHeist as of yet.

Is there anything I can do besides wait for the codes to show up?

Ok, here's my question for the day. I ended up buying 2 bundles, one for myself at the beginning and one at the end (for a friend). Not thinking, I used the same email. Will I get the MH apps or not? The "grab" link thinks I got my apps already.

Made my purchase on the first day a little after 11am central time.   I think I've waited patiently enough for my MacHeist extras.  I'll PM a directorate I guess. 

I purchased the MU Promo. I am 99% sure I clicked over from Mac Heist. I found it through MH. (sam mcdonald told me about actually) I tried to resend my write room serial as well as excess, but none of them worked. it's been 36 hours and nothing works... any status updates? i bought the package to get stuff from the MH ones, I didn't really care about the MU ones except for garagesale.

if someone at mh could provide an update, that would rock.

I used windows but I hate having to always downlaod virus updates.
Started using ubuntu butj I don't like typing so much....

Never got my macheist email.  Got a linkinus email though, and I got my flow and writeroom licenses by following those resend links and entering my emai so I know my email is in the system and valid and what not.  It's not in my spam folder either I've checked.  Really would like pixelmator beta and browseback though, so I'm just letting you know...

It's been almost a week and I still haven't recieved what I have paid for. Does anyone know a phone number of someone I can call?

No one has been ripped off. I have received all of the things that I paid for that are available so far. Unfortunately there seems to be a group of people who are experiencing problems. Hopefully they will be sorted out soon.

I got all my licenses too (BrowseBack is awesome). Sorry to those who are experiencing problems; be patient - this bundle is more than worth the wait and I'm sure Phill and gang will get this sorted (this couldn't have been easy to pull off in such a short time!) Also, be grateful that they do these things for us and the devs and hope we get more opportunities like this in the future.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention this - the 1st bundle was bought on the 1st day so everything trickled in and I got my Garage Sale Lic after my receipt from MU but before the Heist Loot email.
The second bundle, I received my Garage Sale lic a couple seconds *before* the receipt from MU saying I bought the bundle. Wrap your noodle around that one sports fans

I am also without license codes from the MacHeist part.  Did I click thru MacHeist at the time of purchase?  I'm 90% sure I did, but I may have also jumped to it through my history.  Did I visit MacHeist first?  Definitely.  In fact, I made my decision to get the damn bundle based entirely on BrowseBack and TechTool.  Now, without BrowseBack... yes, I feel scammed.  This deal borders on bait and switch.  The relationship between MU and MH was very blurry with talk of who is kicking in what extra software.  I have PMed kalleboo and heard nothing yet.  If I don't get the other licenses, I'm going to do a chargeback on my card.  This deal is s-h-a-d-y.

Everyone, please stop questioning Phill Ryu's/Directorate's intentions - they would never risk their well-earned reputations in such a way. As I stated a few posts up, I got everything that was promised, I'm sure hundreds (if not thousands) of others did too. I'm sure they're working hard to get everything sorted, but the way some have been bitching, MacHeist will probably think this is not worth doing again! (You're quite justified in worrying where your loot is, just stop sounding so greedy and stop implying that you're being scammed!)

It is indeed thousands, and I just finished my backlog of support PMs/emails (I have a day job as well!)

Has anyone received access to the Pixelmator beta?

It took a few days in all for the other stuff.  I heard from MacHeist after 23 hours (as per their warning). I got BrowseBack almost immediately after that (kudos to SmileOnMyMac). Then Linkinus the next day.  I didn't receive anything from Exces or WriteRoom (after waiting 4 days), but people in here have posted links to have them resend, and those worked for me.  I also received an email from Flow that I had to respond to to get into the queue for that, but haven't heard back since then.  Several of these I had to retrieve from my Spam folder -- that's life.

But nothing from Pixelmator, which I would really love to play with.

p.s. An excellent bundle.  There is quite a bit of moaning going on in here, but I'm very pleased with MacHeist and MacUpdate.  Fantastic price for some excellent software.

No one has received the invite to Pixelmator yet. Their website I think said it should be ready toward the end of July, so I would expect it soon.
