yesss!! boboboe hooray. I've been meaning to post asking about iclip for a while, but kept forgetting, then i'd see, think about it again and forget again. hopefully we can get an answer.

Hmmm, iClip is working fine for me on Leopard. Mind you, I use the circle containers not the square ones...

I'm guessing: Nov 25th (as they probably don't want to work over Thanksgiving like last year).

As for actual question about the MH2 start date... yup, definitely, sure, we have one. And I know that's not the answer you wanted.
As for the iClip Leopard issue, we've gotten a bunch of people who've reported this issue that you're seeing but none of us can reproduce it yet. If you or anyone else who's seeing this would submit a System Profiler report to Inventive support, I'd really appreciate it. It's definitely not something that's affecting every user but enough to be a big concern.
In addition to this bug, there's a major one with rich text previews that I'll be fixing for the Leopard update. And there's an iClip lite preview bug that needs fixing too (not to mention the website fixes that are needed for Safari 3).
I'll be switching gears from MH2 planning for a couple of days so that I can get these fixes out.

They had a deal where you entered in a coupon code and got free exhibit hall admission for the three days. All I would need to do is find a place to stay and pay for a plane, but I doubt that'll happen in 2 months.

As far as a plane ticket, just drive. Or walk - you've got 2 months still.

For '08 I'll get the free passes, but it would be awesome to go to the keynote! I just hope I remember about this.

Heh. Apparently someone (mdmunoz) wasn't here for the great smiley wars....
Seriously though. Smiley's can kill page load times and put a hurting on the server, especially when these forums are busy. A little joke here and there is amusing, but don't let it get out of hand - ban hammers are no fun (well except John seems to enjoy swinging his ).

Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't browsers just use the cached version of the smiley once it's viewed? which means you can have 350,000 of them and shouldn't notice much load time difference.

jer2665, you might be right. I don't know for sure how the page rendering technology works relative to smileys (esp. in different browsers), but your explanation makes sense.

well, I wasn't disputing the whole don't overuse smilies, just pointing out it's not because of server load (though in very busy time it could have an effect.) but because the people that do it are annoying.

Sweet! The font problem has ben driving us nuts since none of us here have been able to reproduce it.
