MacHeist II Bundle Candidates

You didn't hear this from me, but check out the
(whispers) Phobia Bundle from Major Third .com.
I have a ... history .... with them and Maczot, so refuse to give them my money. All the same, I have to admit they are some awesome, fun little apps.

Well in that case John, 1Password all the way! I can't speak for Dave and Roustem (the devs) but it seems like they would be interested.

Hi step
I already added MoneyWell to the list, but it's great to have a new supporter for it. Kevin (the developer) is really supportive in the forum and you can see new features coming. When I check the midnightapps forum I see a lot of complaints and little response from the developers.
MoneyWell would be a major addition to the list.

sachakun, yeah I'm really impressed by the developer's openness / responsiveness. His blog is a good read too.
Cha-Ching (MA) has had a rough year, and you're right that the forums were pretty barren for awhile. They've actually been improving in this area, which gives me hope for the future - but I don't know that they ever intend to be as open as Kevin, or if it would be possible for them.
If I had to pick right now which one to stick with for the rest of my life, sad to say it would be MoneyWell (even though I haven't used it yet and use Cha-Ching currently). Luckily I don't have to pick permanently, so we'll see what happens.

for me, theres no point in using Mailplane now that gmail is IMAP... Mail handles it now

I must be missing something with this whole idea.
Many of the apps you guys say you want have turned up on either MacZOT! or mupromo.com in the last few months.
Currently there is a promotion called "Give Good Food To Your Mac" that allows you to pick from 28 applications (including pixelmator, atrttext, tables, rapidweaver and freeway) and create your own bundle. Buy up to 10 apps and receive 70% off!
As much as I don't like to hang it on 1Password (I use it and love it), it is also one that quite reguarly shows up on discount. As does AppZapper and Disco and Raopidweaver. And yes I have licenses for all 3!
Many of these programs seem to turn up as specials on magazines at times, and once you have a vaild serial number, most software companies will allow you to pay the update price (usually half) and get a full current license.
MacUpdate still has at least the last 10 apps on lower discount incuding Quickvoice, Dietician, Shredder Classic, DevonAgent, etc) so some are available there.
How about some interesting things that never seem to make discounts like:
Overflow (Just found it and cleaned up my dock)
Visual Hub
Headline (looks good)
Leap and Yep (Got Yep!)
Something other than Aperture that handles RAW
Xtorrent
Lets look for some unusual software to make a MacHeist stand out!

Seriously? Overflow, AppZapper, Disco, and iClip are some of the most heavily promoted and discounted applications in existence. You might've missed out on the hype several months ago.
VisualHub: Agreed, and believe it shows up on many people's wishlists. Well worth every penny.
Headline: Doesn't make the discount lists because it's not available yet. Additionally, there's some controversy surrounding its developers.
Leap and Yep: Agreed. I've only seen Yep discounted once, I think, in the time I've been buying Mac software. That one would make plenty of people happy, probably.
RAW? Most RAW processing applications are too highly priced to be included in a bundle. More importantly, a bundle is something that needs to have the broadest possible appeal, and interest in RAW is pretty much limited to the D-SLR crowd (I only know of 2 point-n-shoots that shoot RAW).
You can put whatever you want on your wishlist, but expect a bit of backlash when you preface it by pretty much saying that everyone else's wishlists aren't worthwhile.
I'm just sayin'.

visualhub is great, and well worth it at full price,
as for leap and yep, there's kind of a deal going on at their site now. buy yep, get leap for free.
