Hmm... I was thinking about MemoryMiner, Yum, and XMind Pro for myself, with an upgraded Rapid Weaver license not a bad at all.

The others, I'd probably give to other family members who've switched...

But, budgets being what they are, a clue as to possible repeats would be excellent.

None of the MUPromo apps are going to be in the MH Bundle according to Phill.

I'd like Forklift, Yep, and Xslimmer, those in and of themselves make the bundle is interesting.  Throw in RapidWeaver (which I've wanted to try) and I'm a little bit more sold.  However, the first two extras are kinda weak IMHO.  The only one that interests me is Pulp Motion which might not get unlocked--6 days left and I'm not sure they're going to hit the required number of purchases to unlock anything.

The purchase count is just over 900 right now, so there's a good chance of at least XMIND being unlocked.  I was actually waiting to see if there was going to be a MacHeist tie-in like the last mupromo.

I'd kind of like to see it get to 2400 so I can gift iStabilize to the video demon in our family. Not sure I care about PulpMotion... should I? (maybe something my 6 year old would enjoy :-).

I think the bundle's a lot weaker this year. Seems as though all the hidden gems of the mac dev community have been unearthed and sold. Still, hoping MH will prove me wrong smile

How would any of us know how weak the bundle is until it's announced.  It doesn't have to be a hidden gem to make the bundle worthwhile.  There just needs to be enough of drool factor.

BTW, mupromo is now over 1,000, so XMIND has been unlocked.

The MU bundle is a great deal if you don't have any of the apps yet.  I have so many of them that there's no point for me...

PulpMotion is indeed a cool app - I won a free license for it from theAmazon, and it was pretty cool; it reminded me a lot of FotoMagico.

re: the bundle - I'm pretty sure it'll include DL2; probably also TM2, as well. Those two apps alone make it compelling.

The MHII bundle? The Directorate have already stated no repeats, eliminating DL2 and TM2. (Apologies if I misunderstood, but I don't know of another bundle the contents of which are as yet unidentified.)

It does look interesting that they're offering a $400 app for only 49 dollars. I might just get that. I'll have to mull it over.

Oh. I forgot about that. It also makes sense now that I think about it, as the point of selling DL and TM in the bundle was to drive revenue through upgrades for Leopard.

I missed out on TM and DL last time and am so I'm pretty bummed that the upgrades won't be included in the upcoming bundle.  But, I can't wait to see what will be included this time around.

Bottom line for the mupromo package: if you interstead in 1+ of the apps included, its worth the cost.  Regardless of whether its as good a package as the previous one or not, the savings given to buyers is pretty insane.

I have zero idea about what is in the MHII bundle, so I couldn't comment there.

I haven't ever quite understood the rationale of people who need justification for Every app in a packaged sale like these.  For example, if you are considering buying RapidWeaver, why wouldn't you buy the bundle; seeing as its the same price as RapidWeaver alone.  Really it always ends up sounding like "If I don't have serious need for every single app in a given package, I am just going to go pirate the one or two that I'm interested in."

Not saying thats the case; just saying that it sounds like that to me a lot of the time.

Yes. My avatar needs a a little cleanup work.

Well, that "retail" total is a little misleading, but still a good deal if you don't have any/most of the apps and there's one that you'd really like, given the discounted price.

XMIND 2008 Pro has actually been listed on the developers page as available for $129.95 (discounted from $299.95) through Dec 31. (-;

I'm hoping to see the sales get closer to unlocking iStabilze so I can gift that one.

Hi
Last time TechTool wasn`t unlocked by the number of saled bundles. The Mupromo-Team unlocked it as a present for all buyers and besides that they gave each buyer a free licence of PhotoPresenter. Mayby they will do that for PulpMotion, too.

It looks like iStabilize should be unlocked sometime today.  2313 sold so far.  Just need to make it to 2400.  5000 in two days for Pulp Motion seems iffy...  I've been tempted to get the bundle for XMIND (I need something better suited for mind mapping than OmniGraffle which does a fairly good job) and iStabilize.  I already have Xslimmer from a past MacZOT and RapidWeaver from last years MH (I paid for the current upgrade already when it was released).  ForkLift seems kind of interesting but not enough to sell me on it.  Fetch and Yummy FTP work just fine for me.  I already have Pages so Swift Publisher isn't too appealing.  A pretty boring bundle compared to the one from this past summer (I use nearly all the apps in it).

If you were holding out for iStabilize wait no longer.  It's been unlocked!  However, with just over two days left and more than 2,500 left to sell I don't know if Pulp Motion will make it.

Pulp Motion is available through http://www.givegoodfood2yourmac.com/
I got together with my cousin and we got the 70% discount.
The offer will continue for another week, instead of ending on December 8.
Merlin is no longer available, though.
For me it has been probably the best bundle offer I’ve purchased.

I'm not sure about this time around but the last bundle all went to the purchaser.  There was kind of a way around that.  Some of the serial numbers did not require an actual name to go with them.  And some didn't care what name you typed in.  I gave Cocktail to a friend quite easily due to the latter.

The MUPromo bundle is awesome.  I noticed that if you use their 'alert a friend' feature (a mailform), you get entered into a free bundled giveaway.  Might be worth a shot.

I really didn't think PulpMotion would get unlocked but after just looking, it's at 4721 sold.  I would think 5000 should be pretty easy to hit by tonight's deadline.

These bundles have been great that MacUpdate and Macheist have done and am already looking forward to MacHeist 2's bundle.  smile

This is probably obvious to some, or perhaps explained in another place, but I've missed it. Say I buy the bundle now, and later, the count hits 5000. Do I get the extra app that's thrown in at that point? After all, I helped get it up to 5000 in the first place... will the MH2 bundle work the same way?

edit: DANGIT I should have read a little closer - of course you get it.

I agree - at the rate it's moving now, PulpMotion should be unlocked within the next few hours to complete the bundle.
