countdown timer? *TOTAL SPOILER*

I'm really sorry if this is a duplicate thread but I've searched around and I can't find anything similar. well, when you enter in the right code to backdoor, macheist.com, then you get the MH safe with some synamite on it, a countdown timer hooked to those sticks of dynamit, and icons of overflow and santa's gizmo. what's with the countdown timer? is it a countdown to the next heist? obviously what it's implying the MH safe door would "blow up" and show it's contents, maybe like for MH1 and the bundle. but that's not right, because mine is going to go off in around 59 hours.... weird. ANy ideas?

Is there any way to mess with the javascript so as to change the date it's counting down to? I'm not very 'script savvy.

That's from last year. There's no reason to say that they won't use them again, but the bundle doesn't go on sale until January.

I just happened to notice that the time is set to GMT, not EST.
So this would meant the timer will run out around 1pm in Sunday, Dec. 9th.
