The lightning bolt in Philly near Franklin Square is above a no longer operational PATCO station. If you're on the Vine St expressway, its on your left as you circle towards the BF Bridge.

You'll know who the guy is because there's no reason for ANYBODY to be hanging out there.

Pubb

ps: it IS on street view in google maps, its at the southeast corner ACROSS from Franklin Square. Check the intersection of Race and N 6th.

Oh, and something just occurred to me -- if it sent LAST NGIHT, the tomorrow means today, so the meeting should have happened 3:52Pm EST Tuesday, December 11, 2007 (about fours ago).

It's already happened.

Nothing so far using street view on Google Maps.

Stoked,

You should probably be under the lightning bolt. Which is above the former Franklin Square station. Its like a 50 foot tall piece of tinfoil. You can't miss it. And its east of the square itself. But Google Maps doesn't give you street view from the square itself. The lightningt bolt is on a semi-circular pedestal between the square and the bridge.

I think it's gotta be the Lightning Bolt Express train ride. That's AT Franklin Square, it's an obvious public place, and you should be able to figure out who you're supposed to meet. Remember..."(you'll know him when you see him)."

I think its more likely what Pubb said - I'm  not familiar with the square and without a street eye view would be difficult to see

as far as i know there is no lightning bolt physically in the square, but i have been over there in a few weeks, things might have changed, and if that train thing isn't until the 22 it still might be set up, or in the process of being set up

Freezing rain and heavy fog in western PA. Perfect weather for a mysterious rendezvous if it makes Philly by tomorrow afternoon. Trench coats, turned up collers. Geez, I wish I could be there.

I was looking on google maps and right across the street from the lightning bold is

The National Constitution Center is an independent, non-partisan, and non-profit organization dedicated to increasing public understanding of, and appreciation for, the Constitution, its history, and its contemporary relevance, through an interactive, interpretive facility within Independence National Historical Park and a program of national outreach, so that We the People may better secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity.

I don't know if it has anything to do with the meeting because part of the password has to do with liberty.  Also, on the other side of the street is a church, and the password also has to do with bells.

i'm not trying to think too much about it, i'm just going to go, take pics, and go through the motions, i'm thinking its probably going to be some sort of media handoff, similar to the packages in the mail? part of me wants to meet some guy in a trench coat, fedora, and shades who hands me a manilla envelope with top secret stamped in red ink.  but everybody can have a fantasy right?
