Hi,

New here and just wanted to say hi and ask a question. As a newbie to Mac (switched from windows xp to Leopard a few weeks ago) I've missed out on some fun it seems. Anyway now I'm up to scratch now and hope to help with the next mission tongue

My question is about the application "Coversutra" (that came with the completion of mission 2) - is there any chance we will see that application again? I guess what I'm asking is - do applications that come up in the loot have a chance of reappearing?

I'm not stingy - I pay for stuff like Candybar etc. (which I also hear you guys got for free grrr big_smile) but I'm just not comfortable paying quite a lot of money for a mere itunes controller! (with similar apps being free)

Any help much appreciated. smile

I don't recall ever getting Candybar for free last year, but CoverSutra was for one of the heists last year and I don't think we'll see it be a part of the loot this year.

You can PM me if you want an app that does a specific thing, I have quite a full applications folder wink.

You might see a discount for CoverSutra show up on MacZot or MU Promo sometime.

Or you could always look into using Quicksilver for your iTunes controller needs... smile

No offence, but I don't get that logic. If there are other, free applications that will satisfy you, then you should use one of them. If you specifically want CoverSutra, then it obviously has some worth to you or you wouldn't bother with it, and so its shareware free is not unreasonable.

Also check macsanta.com this time of year. There are usually about 5 developers with varuios numbers of apps with a 20%-off coupon daily. In the lower right corner is a link to past sales which are maintaining a 10% coupon through the rest of the year.
