1. I'm Rich from Utah, USA, but I live in Japan.
2. I have a wife and two kids.
3. I sit at a desk and look busy, like most other people who have desk jobs in Japan.  I wouldn't mind picking up my programming skills and moving along in life, though.
4. I like to do web development, study Japanese, torture my kids, read books, watch movies, relax, take my wife places she wants to go.  That sort of thing.
5. Undecided.  I really haven't listened to too much music since I moved to Japan 4 years ago.  I don't drive to work and think it's terribly rude for people on public transport to listen to music when they could be having perfectly good conversations with the people around them.  I also don't listen to music on my bicycle as I find it very annoying trying to dodge people who are drunken on music while "riding" their bikes.

I'm actually a really nice guy, but have had a time of it lately with the bicycle people.  Grrr.

And lots of stuff can rhyme with orange if you are going with the broader sense of the term in a purely poetical scheme.  We shouldn't feel so picked on.

The first time I heard the word "perfectionist" I was pissed that I wasn't one.

4. what kind of hobbies do you enjoy?

5. what music do you like?

My first favourite band was Mott the Hoople. I still consider them the best rockband ever.

I like musicians that has some kind of artistic ambition. XTC, Echo and the Bunnymen, Comsat Angels, Pere Ubu, Talking Heads and The Cure are some bands from my teens that I still listen to. I played in a New Wave/artpop band and these were my major influensen when writing songs.

Genesis, The Number Twelve Looks Like You, Jonathan Richman, Elvis Costello. Joe Jackson, Aphex Twin, Sex Pistols, Killing Joke, In Flames, Editors, Molding Peaches, Beach Boys, The Beatles, Black Sabbath. Peter Hammill.

And best of them all: Bob Hund. Their songs is in Swedish and the lyrics is pure genius, but I think you can enjoy their greatness even if you don't know Swedish.
